hehe yeah its prety filling, when you havea burger and chip with a pint of guiness in the pub its pratically like having a course meal. One of the reasons i always drink lager with food, guiness on long drinking sessions.

Oh it is better inIreland
The UK is split in two, you have thesouthern half servered by the London Guiness Brewery and the northern half served by the Dublin Brewery making the northerners pint much better
(/gloat)
However you can never beat a fresh Dublin pint, there is a massive difference even though its from the same brewery that server my local. Guiness on the continent is ok, but they are mainly served by the london brewery again so not as good.
Infact the London Brewery is being closed down, it was announced receantly because customers didnt like the taste (tonnes different from Dublin Brewery) so all production to the main countries is moving to the new Dublin Plant. Little bit of industrial business news lol.

good to know! Now anywhere in the U.K. I should be able to get a pint from the Dublin brewery? That's the best news I've had in a bit.
Only thing better would be if they somehow made a duplicate brewery over here in the U.S. and somehow made it taste just like the Dublin brewery. Then, and only then, would my excuse for a life be complete.

Yeah, I did notice it tasted better in Scotland. But I had to live with what I could get on a regular basis most of the time
