Thread: So, Jedi get what they want again?
Of course they got what they ask for. And if a droid can't track them then no we shoildn't either.

No, I'm not talking about entertainer buffs. Shadows are no longer shown for cloaked Jedi. Who here thinks it'll be impossible for their whining to be capable of getting /areatrack knocked off of their "able to see me" list as well? Any takers on how long that will be in the future? Because it sounds like a reasonable argument that we shouldn't be able to see them, so we shouldn't be able to /track them.
Does everyone have their arguments ready?

Just because they are invisible to the eye, doesn't mean that they still don't leave footprints. Not even the force can create or destroy mass.
Jedi can use the force to levitate objects, run super fast, Jedi Jump, etc. They could just as easily make themselves light footed enough to not leave a footprint. But funny will be the day when people spam, "I need a Jedi to help me track ..." because there are no Rangers left and the Jedi have finally gotten areatrack.

Hey, Make the Ranger's the best pvp profession in the game, with forced pvp progression, with noconsequencesfor embracing"The Dark Side",and you will suck up ***holes like a sponge making all attempts to play a serious roleplaying Ranger impossible becouse everybody hates you and your kind.

Well, you see, it's not just Rangers. Everyone dislikes the image Jedi's have given themselves due to their attitude. Furthermore, everyone resents how the squeekiest wheel seems to get the most attention.
But if you want to hold that against one of the most neglected professions in the game, then I humbly apologise. Us Rangers and will go off and play in the new expansion that SOE made for us. Oh wait, it wasn't for us, you Jedi's got that too.
The sad part is that only Roleplayers pick up Master Force Wielder (it's too worthless/redundant for pvp players), and even if Cloak is THEIR skill, pvp-hungry powerdabblers will eventually nerf that power asunder like everything else they prey on.
As someone who play a Master Force Healer (thats been redundant since Mars btw) and a Light Side (that been penalized/nonsupported since publish 9) roleplayer I am very tired of the situation. I stopped to play that character completely and now I am grinding a Ranger/SquadLeader on TestCenter becouse I am used to pain. I have been in-game married. Twice.
I just lost all respect for you with this comment.

Why?
I think that's one of the most cogent comments about the "Jedi problem" that I have seen yet.
The fact of the matter is, right now, there is no penalty for being a powermongering a$$hat with Force skills. She's absolutely right about this.
Having a dark/light differentiation, which conferred significant power on those who choose to follow the dark path while simulatenously denying them certain benefits that should be light side exclusively (like Force healing) is one of the major errors that was made in the revamp. But then again, the devs will cater to whining 11 year old (emotional age, which includes some people in this game who claim to have children) PvP a$$hats every time.
The result is Jedi ARE hated, and her point is that if Ranger had the same sort of issues, RP Rangers would be in the same box she is in.
Thanks for the support.

And youre comment is right on the spot about what I meant.

Yeah, I tried for an hour to get the spacing figured out, but it just won't move back beside the rest of the text.
Maybe I should just stick to a descriptive sig instead of artwork, hehe.
Have you tried experimenting with the HTML <PRE> command? It should preserve spacing as entered. Just a suggestion
