When I first picked up the manual for SWG I remember reading that Scout was intended to be one of the most versitale and more beneficial for soloing.

Because I didn't know anyone on the server at the time I decided that was a good enough reason to take on the profession.

Once I mastered scout, I'd still not met my guild so I was in a solo player mindset. Spurred on by NRaas, Calc, and Delta's lead as community leaders at the time, I really felt that I had found my "place" in SWG with the Ranger title.

While the skills are not as great as they were, and could be, they still are a major portion of what I consider to be my version of SWG.

Yeah hehe, never made it to the Gathering. My trip to Jersey took 2- 3hrs more than it should have due to phantom traffic and some genius civil engineer deciding it was ok to cut a 4lane highway down to 2 for approximately 30miles.
