I think you are mistaken for america as a whole rather than the passion waggons lol.
"all they do is go around trying to save the planet, while smoking pot, and driving their VW Buses"
I applaud anyone who spends a life-time fighting to save the planet we live on. As for pot smoking and vw buses....... hehe not too bothered, you cant be arested for smoking pot in england and VW Buses or 'Passion Wagons' Rock! I went snowboarding to Cour Cheval last season and we traveled in a VW bus hehe.

my post was a complete joke. i love the vw Buses. I have nothing against saving the planet, as it certainly can't save itself with us humans around.
as for the pot issue, i don't do that, but to each his/her own.

lol hippies have uses
they do?
all they do is go around trying to save the planet, while smoking pot, and driving their VW Buses that put SUV's poor gas milage to shame, and also spew out ungodly amounts of pollution.
Quite simply, they're great weapons. If you want to get back at someone, simply tell the hippy community that the person is a fur-hunter and in his spare time likes to advocate against marijuana.
Instant protest on their lawn. That'll teach them to put a parking ticket on MY car.

What's great is how fast this thread disintigrated. Hats to hippies. with several stops along the way.

I always think it's funny to tell hippies that plants have feelings too...
They've senselssly killed millions of perfectly peaceful marijuana plants.
It's funny to watch them ponder the fact that they are ruthless plant assasins before they break down into tears and start babbling.

There are way too many things to reply to in this thread.
First, have you heard the new song the Musicians are getting whenever their quest/mission thing is fixed? You can find it HERE Lots of people have commented that it sounded very spaghetti western, which would go perfectly with the Ranger hat I think. And the chewing grass.
The straw hat thing made me laugh too Owen. I was actually lucky enough to live near Shel Silverstein when I was little and he wrote a poem about a little girl with a big straw hat that she used to shelter all the animals under. If you can find the poem the title is my RL name and you can see a classic Silverstein drawing of what I looked like as a little girl.Too weird! Of course you may have been drawing a connection between me and hemp to which I say only: I never inhaled.
And remember that the mention of er... those garments... must ALWAYS be fixed, no matter what the context.
Every ranger should be able to recite Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree", Master Rangers can do it without getting a lump in their throat. Kinda reflects how we relate to nature, get everything we need from it and, at the end of the day, can settle down and rest... Or something.
(I was trying to find an old website I did a wav file of the story for a few years back, but it seems to have gone to digital heaven.)
And remember, rangers need 5 starred, with or without hats.

there, supposedly are "levels" of vegan...
some don't eat ANY animal product
and some don't eat any plant material that hasn't already fallen off a tree or plant.
and this, my friend, is where I wish Darwinism came true...cause these same people get heath care when their bodies collapse inward from lack of steak. Especially in Canada, where it's free. Hippie can rule up there.
oh, canada indeed!
(Actually, I love Canada.)
