Thread: What do you master rangers take as a secondary profession?
im planning on master ranger/swordsmen (i just read here that the creature kill bonouses dont apply to melee weapons... that is bad... hope its fixed)
with the extra 18 points i might get medic, or perhaps CH, or maybe artisan (with the basic professions i can afford to take level 1 in one skill, with the hybrid/elite professions i can get one skill to level 3 with that...)
Master Ranger/CH.
I'm not certain where to put the remaining points. I have it in Pistol right now but thats by no means permanent as things change but I'm staying Ranger no matter what!
Ranger 0/0/1/0
Marksman 0/4/4/4
Carbineer 0/0/0/0
Medic 1/1/1/1
I might just stick with carbineer and Ranger for now, with medic for heals. I thought about dabbling in CH but with the changes being planned for it, i might pass that up. TKA and Ranger sounds like an interesting idea, but i am going to wait till they atleast set it up so that the meelers get the to-hit bonueses as well as people with ranged weapons.
As for the riflemen, atleast you dont incap yourself
I think the big secondary professions for most rangers are:
Creature Handler
Pistoleer
Tera Kasi
Rifleman
There are a few who dabble across several professions though as well. I am a Master Ranger & CH with 3 boxes into Pistoleer.
