my new character was just created on Wanderhome. His name is Lowba Therf (ironic that this is my third character and the first time that name is open) I can't wait!

Well, spent a day working over on WH on my bothan. I'd left him parked out by the wookiees hovel after Life Day, so had a nice trek back over Endor, then did some shopping and levelling his Pilot skills. Woohoo, Tier III Smugglers Alliance after just few hours work.
Was REALLY looking forward to the GRM and mentioned as much to MrsKen. Only to be reminded that we're meant to be going out Saturday for a meal as it's my birthday Friday. Tried pointing out that I've had LOTS of birthdays before and I'd be just as happy blasting the innards out of exotic Endorian beasties, but it looks like I've 'got' to go. Something about the 'family wanting to do something special'.
My comment that they could always get a second SWG account for 6 months with what a night out's going to cost went down like a lead balloon.
OTOH.. I can eat real fast, skip dinner and, if am driving, could be thru dinner and home within an hour...

Ok. Got my character started on Wanderhome. Working on Scout and Unarmed.. I'll get him as high as possible by next weekend. Looking forward to the meet, whatever we do.

small problem:
I may or may not be able to attend this time... basically, i am rescuing another Border Collie (he was saved 1 hour from being euthanized) and I may need to drive 4 hours or so to go pick him up.
Basically, he was found hairless, with tapeworms and underweight, he's been nursed back to health and he will be joining my family (now the dogs outnumber the humans) on saturday if all goes well.
In any case, if Saturday works out well, i will be able to pick up the dog and join the GRM6, but if not... I will post pictures of my new baby.

Didn't notice a PLACE where we are going to meet on Saturday... Ranger Tracking Skills ? .... /AreaTrack Meeting Place ... "You were unable to determine anything from the tracks in your area"...
Sob Story:
Let my son play my new character on Wanderhom (HalfPenny Hero - Novice Scout / Novice Brawler (2/0/0/0)) for a while to run some missions and harvest resources to MAKE a litte money... What does he do ?? While I am out working in the yard, he gets bored of running mission, goes to Tattoine, and spends all of my noob money. When I get back on I get a buff and head to Yavin IV to harvest some of the 'good stuff'. I grab a couple of missions and head out, only to find that I on Yavin IV a bit prematurely. It takes me over 30 min. to kill about 6 or 7 Choku.... then I see flash across my screen: Mission Failed! I look around and nobody was there to kill the lair, but it's gone! I figure well ok... at least I got some Yavinian Avian Meat (which SWG Craft told me was decent ... Should've checked after my first kill (got caught up in the battle and all) but that meat has despawned. So I spend most of the rest of my buff chasing and being chased by Anglers and Klikniks. Then I go back to the Starport to get the heck out of there and then I realize that my son has spent virtually all my noob money! I haven't even enough cash to call home let alone hop a shuttle back to Corellia. So as the sun disappears and the light fades you see the long shadow of a large Trandoshan stretch even longer out across the beach as he dances around his camp, playing a slitherhorn and shouting" Come to my camp to get your BF healed and tip me a little so I can get off this rock!"....

(this story would be excusable if I were a noob, but I've been a Master Ranger on Bloodfin for months! Too many stupid mistakes)
Oh well. Anybody want to buy some not to great creature resources for 3303 credits? (price to get a Corellia ticket)
{Update} 1. Got off of Yavin IV (When I logged back on today, my Angler Mission was still active. After about 5 minutes someone must have finished off the lair because I got the message " Mission Complete - 10K has been deposited into your bank account"). So I got lucky there.
2. When I logged off the other night I looked at the Avian meat I had gotten and thought that the good spawn must have gone... After looking again today I found that the good Avian Meat on Yavin IV had not despawned (I only came away with 437 units of it, but its pretty good stuff). I also noticed that the Yavinian Eggs were AWESOME! Wish I had come away with more (only got 19units)...
So sorry for the long post.. I'm just hanging out around Wrixonia doing missions and hoping to meet some of you Wanderhome Rangers...(am keeping it tuned to RIN as much as possible.

Speaking of my yacht, I would be happy to offer its services for the GRM as a transport, party barge, buff station, etc. I finally got the thing decorated, with the exception of a couple of droids that I'm waiting on. Sure, I guess youcould fly your starter ship around, but where's the fun in that?
