Thread: Curious: What do you think makes the ranger forum so much more of a community than the other forums?

Here's my 6 ship fleet:
TIE Bomber (still my favorite ship of all time. i went all the way to Ace flying this thing)
TIE Oppressor (waiting for my shipwright friend to finish making it)
Decimator (waiting for my shipwright friend to finish making it)
Jedi Starfighter (this is my space mining vessel. i've been doing a great deal of space mining lately)
Firespray
Yacht
Most Rebels will be flying a ultra fast A wing in PvP.
Its very small only has one gun. It is the pemier Rebel PvP ship.
The Firespry, like the Krayt is a big fat target. Easy as hell to target and hit.
You will want to use your smallest and most manueverable chassis you own.
PvP in space is fast you will only et hit once ot twice and you will die. Its strictly kill or be killed.
So most PvP comes down to getting the first kill shot in and maneuver.
If you stop maneuvering you die.
If you stop checking for enemy players one will sneak up on you and you will die before you know what hit you.
Every POB ship is a death trap.

well, that would be my Jedi Starfighter than, although my bomber is actually alot faster because of the increased mass i can put a better engine in it, and running droid commandsmakes it even faster.
to get the same speed out of the jedi fighter i'd have to lose the armor and just rely on sheilds.
Think of it as hunting in space always maneuver for the Kill.
Rangers don't tank for the win.

gonna be tough to do that. it's pretty much the opposite of my normal space combat. i'm used to always being in my armed-to-the-teeth, thick-armored TIE Bomber. i'm used to being a freakin' steam roller just crushing everything in my path because things pretty much can't even get past my shields. in PvE the only things that can take me down in my Bomber are Gunboats and Vettes.
