Since djinns can appear as whirlwinds, my light duty TIE was called the, uh, Whirlwind. My regular TIE is Whirlwind II. No other ships as of yet on account of time constraints and the fact that I suck pretty badly as a pilot. Guess I'll be getting my yacht in another two weeks or so, though.

I just named my Rangers Scyyk the "Raging Hormone". Seemed fitting for a game full of 12 year olds.

I haven't bothered naming anything up to now. still working on the name for my yacht.
but i am going to call my decimator (if and when i can ever get thatfriggin thing"Ranger One" (B5 fan here)
and i am going to name my opressor after something nasty on endor (as that is where i spend most of my time, or used to before i started flying)

The ARL on wanderhome has taken to naming their ships within a squadron setup. All ships are Ranger #. The numbers 2-8 are reserved for founding members of the guild (even those who moved on to bigger and better things) while the #1 will be a tournament prize to our best starfighter Ace.
For a while my Y-wing was Y-not. I still haven't come up with a fun name for my yacht, but since I'll end up loosing it for a courier I think I'll avoid getting attached to it.

Well I did use names for my ships now too
A Tie Fighter called "a horned Rasp" (it flies, and I felt comparably weak)
A TIE/In called "a peko peko" (still flying, still weak but not that weak anymore)
The Yacht is still unnamed and undecorated

My Dunelizard was the Squillrat before I redeeded it and switched to Alliance Pilot. I'll probably name any fighters I have whatever guild designation I get, and name my Rebel cruiser the Pathfinder. I generated the yacht and promptly deleted it, deeming it unfit for a wookiee

Well, my yacht is now the Jabberwock and my starter fighter, the Momes Rath. No reason, just really liked the poem when I was little and was reciting it today on the way back from picking up m'game.
Oh, and theres two droids about to get renamed Gyre and Gimble.
Not overly rangerly I know, but hey, there y'go

my yacht is the "Lammergeier" (it's a vulture that flies like a falcon... though the yacht itself is more like a vulture that flies like a U-Haul)
my dunelizard is the "Armodragon". sure, the Armodragon is the boss pop from dragonets, and not dune lizards... but I DID do the research to update SWGcreatures that debunked the 'AP3 on a CL34 critter', and the skin is the same for scyks to dragonets, dunelizards included. and hey... with a mass of 70k, I can afford to dump some really stupid armor on the ship.
