I dont class this as a 'nerf' as such, ratheras a suggestion. Please dont discount ideas simply on the grounds you do not agree with them as it will negatively effect your character.

If you dont like the 'suggestion' then post the reasons and your alternative opinions with explanations why you think your suggestion is better.

BTW, what's the opposite of Anterian Rangers?

There are Dark Rangers. ISR is close but not quite diametricly opposed.

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

Please ignore the trolling jedis. Most are immature and dont respect the roleplaying aspect of the profession. Instead, they intend for it to be a boring profession with little to no risk.

Real jedi welcome the risk, and encourage it. I wish as much as you do that we could purge most of the idiots from the jedi board. It's entirely out of control.

This is the sort of response I like. Concise, polite. Unlike the responses I'm getting over in the Jedi forum at current. Mind, after the first post, I'll admit I let my own tact slide a bit.. and purposely.. though I'm still a good deal morepolite than most of the responses I'm getting.

Thanks, Chianti.

Heh, of course in the self-centered world of the jedi players they would expect me to be out searching for them. In fact that's all I wanna do..yea, search for jedi. Yeeeeaa, search for jedi...

"The thread which was moved to our board was not the original thread that this one refers to."

I sit corrected.

Goes to show, I didn't read the original post either.

But since none of the posters in the thread moved with it, it might as well have been deleted.

Thank goodness they stayed away....And now that I know this thread wasn't started here, I have a little nicer opinion of it, but I still disagree.

Well, this thread was started here by me, in order to bring attention to a thread in the Jedi forum which talked about nerfing our area track ability.

Hope that clears it all up.

Wow what's with all the BH hate in this thread? You know some of your fellow Rangers just happen to be BHs as well.

Now watch your tounges lest I harvest them.

Not all Bh are bad...just the ones who think they are entitled to:

  1. PC and NPC tracking.

  2. Humanoid traps (but i am still on the fence on this issue).

  3. Camps..but that will change soon (calling pets and whatnot without camps)

  4. Med use without medic

  5. Whatever doesn't belong in their class but they think should (I forgot what else they wanted).

I was a BH for a while to use the LLC, but I never went up the investigation line (whihch is when someone truely becomes a BH). I think the big problem is most of the BH who post tend to go about it in an immature manner. Nerf this, give us that, blah blah blah is a common occurence on their boards.

I feel bad for those guys.. they throw them Jedi, but they don't give them tools to track them .. it's kinda cruel.
