Oh yea!!!!! I think that get my number one vote over my own. I actually got ticked off at some of these when they got added. Considering I had been to about a third of them already with out POI and WITHOUT using a speeder or mount. The POI came out about the same time as speeders, and so the two combined made it not very cool that you got explorer badges.
But I'm working on my more and more, got up to journeyman now.
Hey Calc, what if they put in secret POI Explorer badges? Meaning you get the little music and system message and a badge for it, but there is no POI for it. Just something minorly interesting on a planet. I find things interesting and cool to look at all the time, on planets, that aren't POI. Doh I just thread hijacked, sorry.
A friend of mine got all 50 of them and he told me not all badges are POI, however, thanks to the wonders called the internet and a search engine this is pretty much a moot point.
