master rifleman can practicalllytake any thing all except those damn 100% resist certain types of nite sister..

all master mellee prof just charge in a hack what ever it is down... and us rifleman can go toe2 toe with most but the uber nasties we have conceal shot and if used correctly u can solo any thing with out fear gdk's canyon krayts and elders...

conceal shot has pros and cons

con takes frikken ages

pro if executed correctly can kill the enemy with out a single scratch!

I a ranger 4,3,4,4 have always had trouble locateing any kyrats. all i end up doing is getting DB'd by tuskans or dewbacks you should concider yourself luck you found anyat all

lol thats cool phoenix, my alt is a tkm and meditation is a lot of fun. You can also meditate at novice, do unless you want the monk title.....

Yesterday me and 3 rly good friends ive know since launch went kyrat hunting. A bh found us and joined as well. I foundcanyon or giant canyone kyrat(cant remember which. and after a long time we killed it. It was fun and my group was put into hysteric happiness when we looted a pearl lol, we then killed the second on in the spawn and found 9 identical armor segments with +4 to all. Notsure what they are worthso if anyone could give me a price check that would be great

Hey PHen, that is totally cool. What's wrong with wanting a profession because of RP reasons. I have a friend that since day one wanted to be a wandering monk, and so he did master TK, master medic and scout. He can wander, he can help people, and meditate and go full hand to hand with stuff.

I can't say I chose my professions to be the most useful combination and I still enjoy it quite a bit. Although my choices are partially related to how easy the game is with an elite combat profession.

Last night I was hunting around the graveyard (feral banthas, not krayts) and two Ancient Krayt Dragons appeared on my tracking list. I crept up on one of them. Biggest thing I've ever seen. This one was sunning on the side of the ridge. I swear ittook upabout half the slope. I'm not near good enoughto try to solo one of these, so I got as close as 100m and watched. I should've taken a screenshot.

First time I saw a Krayt was my Best.Moment.Ever so far (I've been playing for just over a month). I wasn't even looking for one, I was surveying. The "A creature has detected you" message came up and then I saw a huge mouth headed for me. Thankfully I was on my speeder, he chased me for over a KM. What a rush.

Anyway, for the topic, the first time I was hired to track a Krayt I circled the graveyard for an hour and didn't see anything but Womp Rats. Second time they were everywhere, so it all comes down to luck and spawn time, I guess.

If you get DB by Tuskans and Dewbacks you should be lucky you did NOT find any Krayt

I am a noob when it comes to hunting Krayt myself. Did not have time, confidence and build to take on krayts before lol (now using my alt which is Master Rifleman/Fencer) until a few weeks ago. My first encounter with a Canyon Krayt I ended up dead (I got so excited that I forgot to prepare myself. Even forgot to put on a new powerup and even to wear my helmet). But doing fine now, have soloed Giants, normal Canyon kryats and Juviniles weith no problem. But I thought I would be dead in a few seconds the first time a giant dizzied and knocked me down. But I must say 90% kinetic armor makes a big difference.

I hate searching for Krayts, monday I spent more than 2 hours and no Krayt and yesterday it started fine. When I come to the Graveyard one Juvineile and a canyon was there. Pulled the juvinile away and killed it (no loot arrgh) but when I got back to thew canyon it had disappeared). Then nothing than a quest dragon (no loot).

But I must say I like fighting them. I love to see that big thing rush you and when it attacks everything in its way (which is a useful tactic to use)
