hmmm bout to become novice ranger tonight. I am on starsider and was going to look the local branch up but I dont really care for PvP and am pretty much a Neutral citizen. Too bad really, I thought it would be cool to be part of this.

I checked out that link and signed up. Looks great.

Having problems getting in contact with Nate'Bacca, though. Don't know if he's not interested in the AR anymore or just doesn't get to play a whole lot.

So, I've decided that until I hear from him I'm going to start up another (first?) AR organization on Naritus.

I have a PA hall and everything all ready.

One question to the assembled Rangers here. The "Antarian Rangers" as depicted in the EU were a group of non-Force-sensitive specialists and commandos that pledged their alliegence to the Jedi Order.

Is this the background you're using for your group? I'm not a Ranger by profession myself, but my character history is tied into the "Antarian Rangers" as described above. My character is an old man, veteran of the Clone Wars, and one of the surviving members of the Purge (as most of the AR's were exterminated along with the Jedi that they helped).

If anyone is interested in the roleplay part of such an auspicious group, please feel free to send me a /tell. I'm on Starsider.

Right now, I'm an aspiring Armorsmith. At some point in the future, I'm sure I will delve into the Ranger profession as well.

The AR's were first mentioned in the Star Wars "Wraith Squadron" books, if I'm not mistaken.

In any case, I love the fact that someone is doing something to coordinate such a group. If I can in some small way be a part of it, I would be honored.

I'm actually willing to start a chapter myself on Kauri - I'll look into it. In the meantime, though, please add me to the "looking" list...

I just thought I'd throw out that the Kettemoor Antarian Rangers left the swgalaxies.net site long ago, and currently reside at swgcity.com. Any Kettemoorians seeking us should look there.
