Insofar as I can tell, the most "flaming" we have done since the CU came to TC has been a some anger behind a set of ideas and opinions. Moreover, "Ranger Flaming" pails in comparison to some of the cr*p you read in other forums.
So... we put some ideas out there and clearly expressed a variety of issues that rangers have with the CU. Not only do they give us NO RESPONSE to ANY of our issues, but they delete the thread in which these issues were getting discussed.

In fact, it sounds like censorship... Well it's SWG forums, but I hope Owen will ask around and post what happened?
As far as I know, Rangers were genuine concerned about the issues raised and were frankly not flaming or doing anything out of the ordinary (compared to some other professions I've seen)...
So *WHY* was it removed?

Hmmm... I just realized, I'm pretty bitter about this whole "rangers getting the shaft" deal today. I mean, the grounds by which they determine rangers to not be a combat class is weak at best. Moreover, the assumption that because the CU is not touching Ranger means thatnothing is changing for us is ridiculous. With the abilty to pick up multiple professions in SWG, our role and profession is defined in relation to others. Take the 3k health thing for example. Although you haven't really changed anything for rangers directly, you have comparitavely nerfed our health bar. So you see folks, changes to "combat" professions DO affect rangers. You can't go off making all these changes and think you're in the clear because you're just leaving Ranger out of it. YOU CAN'T LEAVE RANGER OUT OF IT. We are inextricably tied to the mechanics of the game and by changing the combat element, you are affecting the ranger "non-combat" element.
Hmmm, maybe that should go into Al's "unconstructive rants" thread. Meh.
