I love Enya and Loreena. Especially if you want to show the things we enjoy, like watching the sunset from the highest peak in a deserted part of a planet. But if we want the video to be cool and action packed I think we need a little more RAGE.
Look! Rangers rock! Action! Adventure! We need to work on this profession now now now!!! Though Rage Against the Machine might not endear us to the devs all that much.... considering who is the machine... and how we all go home like zombies every day and plug ourselves into the Matri... I mean, Star Wars Galaxies.Actually I'm not really like a zombie when I leave work to drive home and play Galaxies. More like a rabid chiuaua (sp???? How do you spell freaky demented little dog?)

Sooo... all this killing and trance like music... is this US doing the killing or us being KILLED? It makes a difference.

i couldn't agree more!!... you need to hear some of this band, flogging molly... i hate that this is pretty much a hi-jacking of a very cool thread, but if i can get one person to listen to them it was worth it...
um... some samples at amazon (it's the best i could find on such short notice)... for rangery feelings, i'd suggest "what's leftof the flag" or "the kilburn high road"... i only hate that you can't get the feeling of the song from the 30 second demos... ugh...

I agree w/ the Flogging Molly suggestion. Both of those songs would be fitting and I think that you could throw "Rebels of the Sacred Heart" in there as well. Another song that I think would be appropriate would be "The Road Goes on Forever" by Fates Warning.
A third song that I thought of, while not entirely fitting for Rangers and with some colorful language, is "Fett's Vette" by MC Chris. Well, now that I think about it, Master Rangers can wear Mandalorian Armor so maybe it fits a little better than I though.

Check me out on Tarquinas when you hit it up... I've come in contact with about 5 other MRs on Tarq but none on a regular basis, none have posted here to my knowledge...

Well, as I have been without internet for the past week I have been unable to get anything down in regards to the video.
So let me get caught up.
First off.
I'm gonna head to Ahazi first. So if all the Rangers of that galaxy could sound off and let me know when they will be available I would appreciate it.
Secondly.
Music. I have been and probably will continue to explore different songs and see how they work, but what I want to show off in the video is the duel nature to the Ranger. One part being the nature loving Ranger and the other being the combat related side. I want video of Rangers fighting and rangers just simply exploring and enjoying their environment. Thus far, the song that seems to work best for this is Kid Rock's "Lonely Road of Faith", as it has a nice slow tempo during the majority of the song and at one point really kicks into high gear. I am, however, always open to suggestions, but again, the idea is to show both the explorer and combat side of the Rangers.
Sorry I have been away and not getting anything done yet, but now that I have my internet back up and running, I will be busy tracking you all down.

Ahazi Master Ranger here! I'm online quite a bit. On the Pacific coast of the US from oh call it 7 am until 5:30 or 6 pm. LOL. Yes I do play a lot. These days you can find me Dantooine. Just send a tell or email when you get to Ahazi and I'll meet you wherever you want.
