Yeah, but Dancers just don't know any better...
I say dancers because i don't want to include musicians since i reactivated my crafter account this week, and dropped weaponsmith for musician. i hated weaponsmith, too many named resources to gather. so now he's master artisan/master tailor (NEVER makes those skimpy pants) with a bit of merchant and musician.
Even if you are a 
party girl as a previous post says, hawtpants are still unacceptable. get yourself a nice dress, or a skirt/shirt combo, or shirt/camopants.

Well, I hope the profession isn't everything you hoped it would be, cos that'd mean there was nothing left to aspire to. Having said that, I hope you get as much FUN out of being a Ranger as you hope and that you help spread the legend of Rangerdom amongs the Uncool Masses out there.
Remember there's no one 'true' ranger type in Galaxies, there are many, many ways that different folk play their ranger toon. The best type is the one you're most comfortable with.
(Personally I play my Ranger as a shambling old git, cardigan and slippers, who can't remember if he's headed out on a hunt or on his way back... or maybe that's just me...

Serious rangers, welcome. If you are here because you love the profession, yay. If you are here to solo krayts or make millions and become a leet pwn3r or whatever... dont let me know that's why you are a ranger.

How do you figure? When p-darts get fixed, we won't be more screwed than ever. We'll be simultaneously A) merely as screwed as usual, and B) less screwed than we recently have been, since all the half-witted trogs mucking up the ranks will stage a mass exodus from the profession. Silver lining, dooder-- look for it.

. Knowing what every single trap does and the proper time to use each one. Knowing what critters will group agro on you from experiance. Always winding up being the leader of hunting parties even when you only wanted to grind just because of your expertise with said critters. ) the list goes on. Thats why i am a lifer, and will never turn my back on a Novice Ranger in need. I know the struggle ahead of them and the rewards and pride they receive when reaching MR. The Ranger life is suppose to be a lonley life, yet everone seems to gravitate to us............
