I agree. Maybe we should invite TH on a Ranger hunt into that area and show him our problem...

Hehe - for the next big all ranger hunt (sorry I missed the last one, btw), we can all go to the middle of one of the now empty "adventure" planets and e-mote "wonders where all the critters have gone"

Master Ranger / Mediocre Rifle-person
Bloodfin

And then TH will spawn a nice old ancient krayt on our heads (I wonder what it would be like to fight a krayt on Endor...).

Heh... I am just waiting for the chance to say: "So, spawn us a krayt Great Dungeon Master!" lol

"Ranger isnt a profession. Its a lifestyle for sure. But upon the desert plains of Tattooine that wandering hermit you see was once a proud Ranger. It may not be a profession anymore but the lifestyle can never be lost, changed or deleted. "

I would like to add about Talus being empty. Our guild (FTP ) has a lot of Rangers and we had a group searching Talus. Talus is dead. We spread out, we walked and we tracked from one side of the planet to another and no spawns. I used to live in Zion City on Talus and it used to have good spawns all around the planet. Most of the player cities (Shadowfire server btw) have collapsed and disappeared. It does seem that with no player cities, very few players on the planet, there are no spawns at all around the planet. On Shadowfire, Talus has become a wasteland.

If high loads equals low spawns, and low loads equal higher spawns, then Talus should be crawling with spawns. I don't get it

FYI...I spent 2 hours on Endor last night. I flew about 2.5keast (in typical Ranger fashion, I said west instead of east)of the Research Outpost, hopped off my bike and areatracked. Nothing. I walked 3k to the north (throught the Dulok Village) tracking all the way. Nothing. No NPCs and no critters on the planet. I was so angry that I logged on the spot. I hope when i log back in that I am killed by a creature, as that means that creatures still exist on Endor. I am expecting to be safe. Based on THs post, the Deatwatch Bunker has wiped out all of the lifeforms on Endor. So, should I get a mission? Nope..I was hunting Black Sun... All herb meat I found on the way would have been collected, but that was a moot point.

LOL I log out in the middle of no where all the time. On all kinds of planets. Have since beginning days as scout. People call me crazy ranger for doing it. I like that. In my experience, with my ranger skill mods in camo and mask scent maybe, that even if I log in amongst agro critters, I don't get attacked on log in. Now once I start moving about, sometimes I get agroed. But if I log in near things with negative faction to me, that gets me attacked. Logged in surrounded by meatlump corpses once. hehe.

And I like the idea of having our next meet on Endor and looking for spawns. Do a clean sweep of the planet with all of us about 1000m apart, doing areatrack. See what we find. Then TH can spawn a Gorax for us. Hell it would be cool, just to get to see one, even if I die.
