This is why I cycle through my mounts. I usually use Bantha's on Lok and Tat now tha tI have one unless I'm hunting them for wooly, then I use Achilles. I have a Humbaba (Rori, Corellia, Naboo, Talus), a Brackerset (all Adventure! planets) and a Bantha for the desart planets.

Oh, I think they do. I was recently reading a post by GarVa in which he mentions three of his characters... and if GarVa has time for three characters then I am sure the CSRs have several. If my friends and I were CSRs our department would probably be run like this:

CSR_Raruk: Paks, there is some guy stuck in the Ewok villiage again, its your turn.

CSR_Paks: Okay, okay, right after this lair.

CSR_frkjerm: He must be lonely. I'll go make funny faces at him until you get there.

CSR_Nagirte: Will you look at this guy on Naboo? He has three vendors full of backpacks for 9999999999 credits! They are all labeled Dragon Pearls... Krayt Tissues... Crystals... Attachments... Ooops! Looks like someone just suffered a "server boundary issue." Mwahahahaha!

I am sure you can all imagine similar scenarios.


You think that kaduu thing is bad, don't try Creature Handler. After a while you get so desperate for xp that you'll tame a baby then immediately use it against its parents. Thats messed up.

The droids only run away when attacked. The simple solution to this is to keep them away from creatures that do area attacks, like Bull Rancors. In other types of missions, like Voritor Hunter missions on Dantooine, I have the droid "Follow Target" the lair and he hides there until something dies.

The difference between grouped and ungrouped that I've noticed is that when grouped the animal you are attacking may actually attack and chase the droid. And those things run fast. When you are ungrouped the droid may still get hit if it is near enough when the animal does an area attack. The droid will run to the edge of your radar or a bit beyond and stop, since nothing is attacking it anymore. It will usually come back if you repeat the harvest command in /tellpet. I've only had to actaully store and recall my droid once in this case.

I try to keep a close eye on that little pink dot on my radar and hope for the best.
