Righty.. that's me set up on Wanderhome as well.

I was gonna just create a char the same as my actualy Ranger but i think i might develop this one more after the meet so I didn't want a clone. Anyway, i'm a trando called Krissk. I've made about 40k i think doing the Tyrena > Vreni artisan missions a bit... ready to go though i have limited combat skills.

Looking forward to this!

All righty. I've made my toon on Wanderhome. I'm on Tatooine, so I'll need to get funds to get myself to Dantooine. Still not certain I'll be able to make it, since I have a guild meeting an hour before the Ranger meet, but I will do my best. I'll try and log in tomorrow and earn some travelling funds so I can get there. My first Ranger Meet, I hope I can make it. LOL.

Thanks for all the great planning that went into this event.

If your a noob to Wanderhome like me.... plan ahead. The player city that this is being held in does not (at least not that I could see) have a shuttleport. Make sure you give yourself enough time to get the travel voucher and the vehicle rental - plus time to travel the 2500 meters south to the city.

I can't wait to meet you all. See you tomorrow.

Och it's only 2500m and flat most of the way, well, apart from the hilly bits... And the critters are mostly friendly. My wee bothan managed to get there without accident. Okay, so he incapped twice, but maybe I shouldn't have tangled with a piket and a voritor lizard. (Was ****** funny running them into the Mokk spawn and letting battle commence.) Certainly made the trip down to town fun

I joined the RIN channel on Wanderhome this morning and once I said I was visiting from Ahazi and was trying to get travel money I got a bank tip from Camray. Thank you Camray. I was able to travel to Coronet and then to Dantooine. Flew into the Mining Outpost and walked to the waypoint which was about 2500 meters I think. Didn't have too much trouble. Walked masked and around the red dots, lol. I'm Novice Scout and Novice Brawler right now. Haven't done anything at all. So I'm where I need to be for the Ranger Meet. Now if I'm able to make it, I'm good to go. I do have a guild meeting an hour before the meet, but I'll do my best to get there. Might be a little late. Ah yeah, my name on Wanderhome is Kiriel.

I will be there. I'll be glad to once again help with the lead group looking for creature spawns. I can also help with getting players to the meet location. See you all there.

Twas a grand event!

New home of SWG Rangers!

"Ranger isnt a profession. Its a lifestyle for sure. But upon the desert plains of Tattooine that wandering hermit you see was once a proud Ranger. It may not be a profession anymore but the lifestyle can never be lost, changed or deleted. "

YAY!

That was really really good fun!!

I travelled down to the jump off point the day before, so as to be there bright and early today and, wouldn't you know it, I nodded off after dinner tonight and was late arriving for the hunt after all!

Headed out about 700m eastish from town and got an invite to one of the two groups that were out terrorising the countryside. After that it was a wee bit of a blur, run run run shoot shoot shoot harvest harvest kerching --- oooh I didn't know there's a payout noise when a mission is completed, lol --- then run run run, etc. to the next lair. Even without the little arrows and bits on the HUD you'd be able to see the damage numbers flying up in the air like some demented bingo game!!

I did notice that I wasn't getting much weapons xp but I rather think this might have been connected to my pistol and carbine having got worn down to <15% condition. Anyway, I levelled up a ways and thats as good enough an excuse to get me a new set of tools, lol.

Will have to take the wee fella out one evening with buffs and traps to balance things out!

Again, thanks very much to everyone who put so much effort into making today happen, Tribus and the Tribe were wonderful hosts, Obata was on hand to slap disinfectant and bandaids on us all and make sure we (mostly) didn't die... oh, hang on, I seem to remember the dead people were mostly in Calc's group

Already looking forward to the next one!!
