The Firespray is quite a nice ship although the price is more for the cool factor (i.e. difficulty to obtain) than anything. It handles much better than a B Wing and has 212k mass (I personally think it handles as well as an X Wing with a higher mass). Although you don't want to use it for PvP--it has way too big of a profile for that. But2 guns and 2 missile slots with a lot of mass lets me kill stuff in PvE a LOT faster than I can with my A Wing (1 gun, 1 missile, 65k mass).

don't know Reb ships.. Privateer my self. Sad to say but I do better in my Dune Lizard than I do in my Kimo. I call my Kimo the space cow. I've got the cert for the Tier 3 ships.. but they sound kinda crappy too. Oh well I guess I'll just have to plow my way though to master and find out for my self.

I've spent my credits of all kinds of stuff.
At the moment, however, I'm hoarding it away. When the new expansion comes out I'm going to be switching combat profs, getting JTL and picking up a new crafter alt - I'm feeling flush right now, but when I think about all of these expenses.... it hurts my head. I'm trying to make some cash now and sell off some more expensive weapons before the CURB (because at least I know they do have value now).
If things get too expensive, I have 2 30k resource deeds I can sell/trade.

Mmmm.... ships.... Ok ok, so THAT'S where my monkey goes.
My Kimo is nicely set up just now, for what am doing. Three chunky cannon, a manouverable engine and a decent capacitor. It's not the 'uberest' ship in town by a long chalk (6k firepower, 999top speed before boost) but it certainly gets thru the work. (Compared to the Y-wing that the same engine and gins were in before it DANCES)
Need more shields.
Oh, and some paint. I need texture and paint on that bird...

Where do you guys sell your resources for so much. I am not part of a guild. If that's the way then nevermind because I'm never going to join one.

My guild is actually where I get the least of my money since I usually donate or sell for cheap to them.
Contact some BEs, Chefs, Docs, and AS on your server. Hopefully you can communicate to them a good spawn when you see it and in return, they will communicate to you when they are buying certain spawns.
As an example, last week I found a great spawn of Yavin carnivore meat. I mentioned it to a BE that I know and she said "wow, that's great. I'll buy as much as you can get at 20cpu". Another example is a AS on my server who will sporadically send me an email saying "I am buying the current spawn of lok wooly hide (name) at 35cpu. Please offer any amount to my vendor." It's all about being connected with the buyers on your server. Sporadically you will see "WTB x spawn" on your trade forums, but I never rely on those.

ive made over 10 mil using the trade forums for organics that people need. i wouldn't rule it out right away, but do use a confirming source.

29 million in the bank. If I ever get a day off again I will hit 30 as I only need 500k and I can make that in day or two.
Currently, I can make 100k a day without breaking a sweat. Two tortur missions are 12k, the meat at 3cpu is another 6k - there we got 18k per mission set. 15 minutes a mission set, if I walk and harvest coming in. That's like 5.5 sets for the 100k. After that, I go play and be stupid.
But lately I have gotten so much decent loot off the Nightsisters I can trade for a set of ubese and comp. Slicing is free. The only stuff I been buying is weapons, and not many of those.
I still have stockpiles of stuff here and there. Gotta sort thru it. And I have 3 starships, a large house, a large mineral extractor, a wind generator and pay for a PA hall upkeep. And I fund noobs and help out guildies.
Wish I was this rich IRL, I could retire (again).

Well, I am not really rich, but what money I do have has been spent on customizing my ships, a Rihk and a YT, and getting ships for my Guild. I actually like the challenge of wanking up and wondering How I am gonna pay the mainenace on my PA hall, so I am pretty free with the money I make, especially helping out new Freelancers in my guild.

ahem...anyhow the most expensive items I've purchased have been:
Rifle Speed +4 CA (4 mil)
Rebel Endor Helmet (3 mil)
AV-21 (2.5 mil)
Beserker Rifle (2 mil)
All pretty much unnecessaryextravagances. I have yet to break the 10 million credit barrier though, as I always spend before I get there!

I sure didnt buy 10 sets of armor, well Im a Rifleman and I prize my ability to NOT have mobs touching me, thus I dont burn armor as fast as other combat profs.

Bought a large house
Bought 3 BER 13 Heavy mineral harvesters
Bought 7 BER 8 Wind Generators
Bought a BER 10 chemical extractor
Had a custom R3 harvester droid made complete w/ dual trap launcher for speed, combat module and storage module
had a custom R4 harvester droid made w. data storage module, fulls et of droid programs, and extra storage module
Bought nice T21 rifle
Bought a nice DXR6B
Bought a full set of 80% to all Comp/Stun armor w/ low encumbrance
Bought a full set of 80% Kinetic Ubese armor w/ low encumberance
Stocked up on survey droids
Stocked up on Vasarian Brandy
Stocked up on Vangerian Canape
Stocked up on Vegash (ever notice the best food starts w/ a 'V'? hehe)

Well hell, I stretched the hell out of that million, even wound up donating 400k to my towns treasury and still had plent of cash left over.
I have gotten lazy and let the bank acct slide under 100k lately but I invested wisely and have the means to crank out another million if I feel like it. (now that I got profs mastered I want, I can spend more time making money, building bases etc)
My latest endeavour has been to build a 'ranch' on Rori, where I started a static Wind generator farm, along with a 2nd house I use as a shop, and placed a vendor where I sell my power, minerals, and Ranger harvested stuffs. Next Ill be buying faction points, and in turn buying and dropping bases. Also made a deal w/ an established Weaponsmith where he does melee and I do ranged weaps, so now im moving towards become a mid-sized business.
The stuff mostly runs itself, which allows me to do what I really like, which is Rangering (all the hunting, trapping, & tracking)
The key, of course is to not spend too much to fast. If you play your cards right, you will never have to use a mission terminal for cash again.Just takes time and wise spending.
