Brilliant....more than I could have asked for...I do agree the tracking aspect needs to be handled very carefully, but since traps and wayfaring are coming in first, and will have little balance effects, I'm sure camps and tracking are taking longer because they want to make sure they are balance passed as much as possible before implementation. Still, I'm extremely happy with all of this.

tracking in this game wouldnt be as much a gried factor as it is in other games. mainly because there is no true PK system here. that being said...



I may have to start up a character on another server. I wanted to go ranger initially, but just didnt see the benefit. now there will be some incentive.

I never played EQ. Can THX or someone else explain how tracking or any of these other proposals harmed the gameplay? I'm not disputing the claim, just saying I'm totally unfamiliar with how they were used in that game, and would like more than just "they would be bad". Thanks.

very good changes


will conceal work even with npc or only with creatures?


for my experience in almost all worlds i had problem with npc than creatures


npc goes aggro from 60m and there is not a way to sneak near them and continue to explore.


this actually render all concealment-maskscent nearly useless to me.

excellent......i wanna know if camps can be used as temporary housing, camps that stay up for awhile so you dont have to rebuild, or if you can have a deed for a camp that lasts a day/week/whatever.

I would now like to say that I submitted an idea similar to /track using a Tracking Kit waaaay back in the week or two after launch, I PM'd it to Holo and Q.

WOW this is very cool, i'm not a Ranger (I'm actually a Bounty Hunter) but these changes make a Ranger much more appealing then before...actually reminds me of a druid in EQ...well congratz all you Rangers, i'm glad to see that the devs are listening to the public...it give me hope for my profession.

These changes are awesome. I just wish I had the skill credits to be Master BH/Master Ranger. Then I would be a very happy camper.
