/grumble You HAD to tell him didn't you? Many Bothans died (or were possibly sidetracked by beer) swapping out that nerf bat... and NOW I have to try to find ANOTHER sober Bothan to do it AGAIN! Do you know how difficult that is??

Oh, you were looking for me? *coughcough*
Good communication skills:
Hmmm... my english has been better I think, I'm a bit slower than I used to be.
I don't flame. I moan sometimes, but very silent so nobody but me hears it
The mind of a tester:
I like to take things apart to see how it works. Did some beta tests before and know how to write a bug report.
Creative:
Can do that, but I'm used to look at things from all sides before I talk about it. Might have to do with my job in RL (tutor, adult education)
Knowledgable of ranger and the combat system:
I don't know anything about PvP - don't like it. But I have hunted a lot solo and in groups. My aproach would be "simple", I wouldn't call me an expert. I'm a ranger since... erm... a long time ago. Started as scout, liked it - and everything else just happened. I also mastered rifleman.
Agood laugh:
Sometimes a thing like a game can make you mad, I'm a gamer for several years now and I know that very well. But I think that doesn't happen to me anymore. I just start screaming a bit, break something...
Only problem might be - I'm from germany, I think there would be a time frame problem *sigh*

Don't worry Owen.We hid the nerf bat in an undisclosed location.... /target Vorpaks /whisper You made sure to put it under the couch right? He'll never look there.

Well, I'm not sure exactly how much time I'll have but I wouldn't mind doing this. I can't guarantee more than a couple of hours a week but I do qualify on many of the necessary fronts (I even spent the last few years at university in England so my accent is a lot more British than most people's
).

Good communication skills: Should be able to discuss and detail issues and ideas well. Also dont flame or moan to anyone, be constructive.
Hey! I can be constructive, but can be perceived as a flamer albeit never, well hardly ever rude or unfairlyharsh lately.
I think most rangers in generalare excellent at discussing ideas, in fact I consider it a game within the game to come to these forums and exchange opinions on what rangers should be like. There are so many amazing possibilities floating around inthese certifiedlydisturbed cyberheads. Well, several, and they are all good.. except the ones that will have us wearing nothing but itchy kreetleskinloincloths, throwing rockspears at beasties and our own grunting language.
The mind of a tester: Should try to break the system think like every possible player type.
I admit it, I'm a sucker for rules, so I hardly ever exploit or whatnot, hence probablynot much of a systemsmasher. But I have an interesting knack for stumbling across strange and mysterious bugs and flukes by accident or fromstars shiftingapparently.
Creative: Try come up with solutions and ideas to areas you dont like or think need adding.
I am creative and happy to bring an opinion, but so are everyone else this SWG twilight zone, so whoopdeedoo don't I feel special.
Knowledgable of ranger and the combat system:You should beexperienced at combat and know how things work.
I started out my professional "saga" career as amaster swordsman/master squadleader trying to lead complete strangers around before the outbreak of the "sologroup"epidhemic, which forcefed me a
fair level of general allroundknowledge.. enough to realize which is the best profession (see signature) at least
Agood laugh: Shouldnt get wound up and should always be willing to have a laugh (but not at my expense god damn it!)
Once again, that's everyone in the community. Jolly good crowd! Even the ones stuck with weird confusing colors and fancy titles are worth shaking a stick at![]()
Oh, and incidentally.. you do know butlers( british stiff upperlip onesespecially)are the ones that end up poisoning the entire cast and run off with the maid, right? Not that I would do that of course. I have a serious relationship with a dewback right now.
All that aside, I know there are others probably just as well or, god forbid, even better suited than me, but no harm in applying. Everyone should really, as isthe humane thing to do, since our new pupp..errr correspondent needs to get used to having 20+ erraticreplies to his threads, once our profession is FOTM and every hairlyfreak from the Global Basement Conspiracy wants to be one, and has an opinion you HAVE to read.
Cheers!

Yes
but my Maids are loyal
And as for poison..... bah rangers have innate poison resists....... opps no we dont
Oh well.
Once ranger is the FOTM professioni know my job is well and truly over and its time to pass onto the next elder ranger
i wouldnt dream of passing it onto a powergamer leet dude who'd turn our forums into a screeming mess of moans, groans (not the be mistaken for goins) and rants.

ummm, well, i wouldnt mind being in the sandbox with you guys. I usually fit about 2 hours per day in (school sucks), and I have done some software programming so I can break software...and quite nicely too
I also do 3d design, so if anything goes in that we want, I can get us a 3D model for the Devs to look at. But if the pictures of our ideas would be better for the Ranger Revamp, fine with me. Just put me where you need me most. BTW: I also have natural leadership skills IRL, and I also have good communication skills (when I want to
)

Excitement. Suspense. A ranger does not know this.
