Some of us old school Bounty Hunters started out as master scouts and alot of Ranger. I sure the hell am going back to Ranger. I miss its utilities. Always been great for pve. Now that traps will effect players too...wow just what I've been asking for since release. And...I miss my large camps...stockpiled them in my house when they changed the BH requirements. Using a basica tent while out hunting with my Jedi friends is not exactly "Wow!" lol...

I'm not sure you're fully understanding what's happening. Scout traps are not going to be changed to work on players. There are new, ground-placed traps which will work on players and NPCs that will not work on creatures. And there are scout traps in the trap line (which is currently not part of the pre-reqs) which will work on creatures, but nothing else. Ranger will also not have any certification for camps, as all of those are moving down to scout. So unless you pick up a plethora of scout skills that you won't need in combat, such as survival or trapping, your Ranger won't have thrown traps or tents. Those skills are no longer a part of the Ranger skillset.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

New info on the dev tracker from TIGGS: ranger traps will affect all targets.

Well... now everyone if going to be a Jedi, with a BH/Ranger alt....

Hey, I partially resemble that remark. Just don't have a Jedi.

Iconic professions. Ok. Chewbacca was a Scout. How come that didn't stay?

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.
