BTW, if you guys are still looking for a place to host a website with database access and the ability to build data-driven pages (ASP/ASP.NET), I have a server running well below capacity at the moment, and would be glad to host the site(s).

Just so I understand, the Antarian Rangers are not a formal guild but a loose association of rangers whose job it is to protect the Jedi?

I like the concept. I served the Empire and found it unfulfilling. I'm currently a Master Ranger who spends his time protecting the citizens of Mos Esker on Tatooine and the members of the Highland Expeditions Trading Company. To augment my Ranger skills, I'm also working on Pistoleer.

I talked to one (or maybe two) of the Antarian Ranger contacts on Kettemoor, and was told to first go to starwarsgalaxies.net and register with the Antarian Ranger PA on that site. I did so, but never heard anything. A couple of days ago, I got an automated email from the site saying that my membership request had been declined. What's up with that?

Azran, after creating the swgalaxies.net account and requesting to join the Antarian Rangers you need to post in the New Member Info forum. Preferably the Kettemoor Antarian Rangers thread but anything that gets our attention to authorise your request to a specific galaxy will do.

Wow, this is very complicated.

It was I who probably removed your name and a bunch of others. I had posted a thread with a list of names that we did not know and needed identification (http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=ranger&message.id=27181) and said I would remove them if I didn't hear anything.

The web site we are using for the forums requires you to register with them first, then you can "join" one of the guild forums.

However, just because you "joined" the guild on thatwebsite does not automatically make you an Antarian Ranger. We only use that site for communicating, nothing official. Basically, when you request to join the website, you are asking permission to access our forums. The AR leader/contact on your server will authorize you once you have joined the AR in-game.

Each galaxy has it's own policy for admitting members so please contact Shaden in game for a direct request. Once you have contacted Shaden, he will then "authorize" you to participate in the forums.

Of course, now that I have removed you from the request list, you will need to request to join the AR Guild on the site again before he can authorize you, heh heh! But the good news is you won't have to re-register!!

Zkull, Shaden, whomever. I've rejoined the PA on swgalaxies.net. Last I heard from Shaden, he was out for the holidays. I talked to Diobe in-game. It sounds to me like I'm sort of in limbo until Shaden is back. I look forward to getting involved.
