One other note on the ARL, you can be in a guild that does not conflict with the cause and still acheive all ranks within this guild. We are a covert operation so having our PA name attached to you is not necassary, so long as you participate. And, under no circumstances will Imperial players be permited!

Hello fellow Rangers!

I have a question.

I am in a guild and like it so leaving that guild is not an option, but I would like to be apart of the Antarian Rangers.

How can this be done?

Jas-mo and I are in the same situation, and on the same server as you. Maybe what Chilastra needs is an Antarian Collective, similar to what some of the other servers have done. Just to go hunting and such once in a while, and maybe send members updates of good resources, etc. Drop me a line sometime ingame, cause if you don't, I'll contact you instead.

We've just started talking about the Antarian Rangers on the Lowca forum. Though the discussion is just beginning there, I'm glad to see that it's not yet leaning towards being PA-focused (i.e. a PA called Antarian Rangers). While this is not a bad way to do it, I think of the Antarian Rangers as being more of a covert organization with members who might be aligned with other organizations. In that light, Lowcan Antarian Rangers can be either unguilded individuals, guilded individuals in a non-Antarian PA, or members of a PA that has decided that one aspect of being a part of that PA is being an Antarian Ranger.

As part of this, a small handful of people on Lowca have started putting "Antarian Ranger" in their forum signatures and at least two, myself and one other so far, are adding it to their backstory in their bio.

As for how we keep in contact, I envision a chat channel system where you add the currently active Antarian Rangers channel in a listen mode to your most widely used chat tab while also creating another tab for speaking in the Antarian Ranger channel (and if someone can tell me how to speak in a player-created chat channel without making a special tab just for that, I would be indebted). Actually, I envision two channels, one for people interested in being a part of this loose group, and the other for those actually already involved in the group. This way we can use the first channel for inquiries (public channel so Imps might be able to log on) second channel for more secret information, such as alerting all Antarian Rangers that a Jedi is being attacked on Naboo or something like that (private channel so we can keep Jedi hunters out). This would, of course, require channel creators responsible for allowing access to the private channel, so it may or may not be feasible, but with dedication it could work.

Anyway, that's how I see it working. If you're on Lowca and are interested, you can contact me. Right now, interested individuals seem to include myself, Khaijin (who started the thread on Lowca), B'en, and Podunk.

My apologies to the people who had already been talking about Antarian Rangers on Lowca. I should have done a search before posting. I also should have read this entire thread instead of just skimming it for mention of Lowca. I apologize. In any case, Lowcan Rangers, please feel free to post on our thread on the Lowca boards. While I am not of the Ranger class, I don't think every member of the Antarian Rangers need to be. What's important is the willingness to protect and help Jedi.

Looking for starsider antarian rangers.

My goal has been to become a master ranger ever since I purchased the game. I would love to be involved with the Antarian Rangers in any way I can. The problem is that I am an imperial. I would be a long hard slog to get back that -5000 fp I have in the rebel category. I just hope that the Rangers on Chilastra are a little more forgiving towards imperials than some of the other servers posted. I certainly could be convinced toswitch sides if it were absolutely necessary... I would just hope that I wouldn't have to wait until I retrieve thosefp's before I could join.
