Can you not just increase the building draw distances in the graphic options?

Everything on my pc was on max before the patch and i could only see a certain distance and things would just pop on me. Now i can see who towns and buildings from 2k away. Its very impressive.

And there have been a few of us the past couple of days on tc oreet. i mean me and ken and someone else where just on now and paks and zaw and possibly kimi later will be on for a hunt.

going to test center is depressing to me. it is because it feels like foreshadowing of things ot come if the Combat Update/Upgrade/Revamp/Balance thing is a flop.

The CU is either going to make or break this game. if the devs screw it up (i have a bad feeling they will) the game is going to go under. i know MANY people that are sticking wtih the game until the CU, and the CU will be the deciding factor on if they stay or not.

And with them pushing for a late April early May release of the CU, without it even in Beta yet, makes me very worried that it won't get the testing time it needs. this is a HUGE update that will effect virtually every single aspect of the game. this thing needs to be tested and tested for a long time before it gets pushed to live.

I'm just afraid that after the CU goes live, Coronet on Lowca will look like Test Center Coronet.

i started noticing this a few days ago if not more. My guild hall is on the souther shore of Naboo about 3k from nearest shuttleport. so i travel just off shore to the next player city and have started seeing one or more houses spawn from about 1200m out.

this is great and all guys, but lairs still dont spawn until withing about 100m, i'd rather them fix that honestly.

[edit]oh, this is on TC.........then i guess what i'm seeing on live is normal, because whole cities dont pop up, just one house sometimes......oh well[/edit]

Hey Owen - what are the stats on your system? I think I need to upgrade (again, lol) -- I have tons of RAM and a decent video card, but my cpu is sort of old, so if I max everything out, I get at most 5 fps.

But the screenshots you guys are posting look amazing - they will add a lot to immersion at the least....

My spec is on the previous page as agent asked for it. And yeah the immersion factor has just increased 10 fold for me. Its made the game very fresh again for me and everything seems where it should be and as if every building 'lives' there in the world. I mean we were all stood in my htfb last night outside entha at sunset and you could look over the city (as show in kens screenies), it doesnt get much more star wars than that. It was prety damn perfect.

the hard part is showing how this draw distance covers 2km in almost every case. finding a vantage point 2km away without a hill in the way is harder than you might think. that, and the server just went down.

Try to go to 1854 743 Naboo. The WP for Keren is located just above 2km north from that, and there are no larger hills between the place and Keren.

what I REALLY meant was: the hard part is arriving on tat as the suns set, waiting for the suns to come up to get a nice shot... then heading to naboo and watching the sun go down. and waiting.

lovely. it's raining now. a lot.

also: player shuttles are down. I'll try to get a shot of keren once the sun rises on theed.

Ok only got a few seconds. I'll use it to say thanks. My guide had kinda droped off the radar. This was just the little shake I need to come back to it.
