Wow man....that's so very sudden. I honestly was hoping to see a bit more of you on Eclipse once these changes hit. The worst part about all of this is that the people I play with are all leaving, as are so many community members that I know and respect. I don't mind the changes (gotta admit, I'm a sucker for starting as a newb again and relearning stuff). But the only thing that has really held me in this game is the people I've met. I assume I know who you're talking about leaving, and it really is disappointing. So much of my optimism of the new system has been trying it out with friends...but if those are gone...so am I. (though I'll take the time to pack up my stuff and not leave it for other people to not be able to build around)

Sondhi wrote: "You were to Ranger Corrospondents what Peter Davison was to Doctor Who." Nooooo. If Owen were Dr. Who he'd be that dark haired one with the bangs..can't think of name.... Not Tom Baker...the other guy...
See ya Owen, had fun the one day I met you on Mustafar.
Best of luck in any case. Athela

Am starting to feel the draw of the Long Walk too.
Logged in on Bria for a while tonight and a number of folk I've known since way back were packing up house, dumping gear on the bazaar and generally getting ready to be someplace else.
Much disgruntlement about the promised compensation for Bria players, after we had a serious bout of down time, that simply never materialised. More disenchantment about the fact that only non-FS toons can do xServer transfers and you'd end up having to leave so muchbehind. Total disillusionment about CU1 CU2 and NGE. The nerfing of teh Tiggs has gone down like a lead ballon, even the usual trolls are pretty silent about it.
Sure the MO was full of grinders tonight, as ever. But there were more folk stood about going 'ah stuff this... can't be bothered playing, cya tomorrow maybe' than I've ever seen.
Both my accounts are paid up into the new year. Maybe I'll take a holiday and go hobbit smacking or something, we'll talk about that in another place. I might be po'#d to the point I'm not even testing anymore (no point, it's nigh on impossible to find a bug thread, let alone find one that's not just a general rant) but I don't see the game holding anything like the interest it has done for me.
Couple of RL friends I brought into the game are also talking about it way less enthusiastically than before, so it's not just me.
Decision time soon I think, eh.

late as usual... and just as socially blundering... it's somber here on the ranger boards, andamong all the reasons, this...
take care, Owen...
