Thread: Rangers beware of overzealous Mark hunters

fellow rangers, allow me to reiterate:
i have a sneaking suspicion (not a BS story). can anyone verify for me (as i'm presently at work) that the moisture farmer and female BH (just these 2)can indeed be tracked? i have found both, but, as with others, i stumbled on the farmer while running a tracking pattern nad in between /areatracks, and the BH i had wp's for, so i didn't think to test either of them. it is my suspicion that these two quest npc's won't show on /areatrack, but the pirates and boar will. and i kinda think the pirate leader won't either once he turns white (pure theory, haven;t tried). if we could clear this up, it'll at least save us some grief (this is all i wanted to accomplish, for us all)by informing the public that we can only assist in the 2 missions (pirate leader and boar, wp's for the BH are easily available).
but, are you 100% certain that "if it spawns, we can track it"? if you tell me so, i will believe. i've not had reason to doubt this, and don't recall seeing a thread on that particular subject. this is the first instance that i've actually thought to ask the question. forgive my ignorance.
OK - as I postedjust two messages up in the thread:
THE MOISTURE FARMER CAN BE TRACKED
once again:
THE MOISTURE FARMER CAN BE TRACKED
and how do I know this:
BECAUSE I TRACKED HIM. BY I TRACKED HIM I MEAN, I SAW ON AREATRACK THAT THERE WAS A MOISTURE FARMED 200m (OR SO) TO THE SOUTH SO I LOOKED AND GUESS WHAT I FOUND? THE MOISTURE FARMER.
and once again for the people who did not read my previous post, and how do I know this:
BECAUSE I TRACKED HIM. BY I TRACKED HIM, I MEAN I SAW ON AREATRACK THAT THERE WAS A MOISTURE FARMED 200m (OR SO) TO THE SOUTH SO I LOOKED AND GUESS WHAT I FOUND? THE MOISTURE FARMER.
and what does the moisture farmer look like on areatrack
THE MOISTURE FARMER LOOKS LIKE A STANDARD NPC MOISTURE FARMER- IE, " (A MOISTURE FARMER)"
and yet one more time, for the people who have problems reading posts, what does the moisture farmer look like on areatrack:
THE MOISTURE FARMER LOOKS LIKE A STANDARD NPC MOISTUREFARMER - IE, " (A MOISTURE FARMER)"
OK - and finally, but some rangers have told me they can't be tracked, why is this?
THEY EITHER DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SAYING (NOT LIKELY) OR THEY ARE SICK OF GETTING "D00D C@N U TR@K M3 UP T@T MOISTR F@RM3R" TELLS.
Once again, why do some rangers tell me that the moisture farmer can't be tracked?

Now, I don't know about the bounty hunter and the smugglers, but next time I run across them I'll track them to see.

Pop Quiz:
1) Can the moisture farmer be tracked?
2) How do we know this?
3) What does the moisture farmer look like on areatrack?
4) Why do some rangers tell me he can't be tracked?
OK - If you answered "Yes", "Because other rangers have tracked him", "A normal moisture farmer npc", "because some rangers don't know (not likely) or are sick of getting 'track ... for me tells", then you get a
%
Otherwise, please read some of the posts above and try again!

1.) Yes he came be tracked if you have Tracking 2.
2.) Because I was able to track him myself.
3.) On areatrack it looks like this "farmer john (Moisture Farmer) direction, range"
4.) Those rangers might not have Tracking 2. I can track just about anything in the game, even players.
