Dont give up fellow Rangers.....we are used to adversity.....when the going gets tough....the tough...errrr the Ranger gets going......

I worked to hard to just give up Ranger like that....Dont lose heart...Ranger is more than a title or some cool toys and skills.....we are the backbone for the SWG community.....

We have the best forum...the best community...really the best profession (once it gets fixed)....we have all put our best foot forward with NRaas' plan......and even though he has taken a lot of (Edit) *&^% from most of us...the best and most pro-active correspondent....

I have a buddy on shadowfire that gave Ranger up and he is working his way back up the Ranger tree as he regretted dropping the profession...NOW SH&T HAPPENS......STAND UP, WIPE AND MOVE ON (dont forget to flush).....most importantly BE PATIENT as things will get better (they can only get better)

Actually, when the going gets tough, the ranger generally gets his butt kicked, rofl, that's the whole problem.

You have to get the "cat o' nine tails" quest item before you can use it though.

I dropped everything but Tracking 3 (either had todrop Novice Medic or Tracking 4) to Master Brawler (along with Master TKA.) With Warcry 2, I actually can get a few hits in on a Krayt and live to enjoy it (in a party, anyway.)

Yeah, I hunt better now, and I'm bitter about it.

But, they made it easier to get survival and scouting exp, so if they ever fix any of our other lines, I'll try them out.

I really, really hope the devs read this post, the amount of people who are considering dropping the Master Ranger title, is unbelievable, I only made Master Ranger last week so will be sticking with it for a while yet, but there's one thing I can't understand.......from browsing this forum I now understand that the Rangering profession needs a BIG update and overhaul, people are practically crying out for it, so why are they going the other way and making us more and more redundant every week?

Come on devs, the Rangering community has waited long enough, don't make them all quit........

I'm keeping Ranger. I had it a while back and then gave it up for the holo chase. Still have't done the profession my holo told me to do and now I'm a Master Ranger again. I love this profession, with Master Rilfleman it is fun.

I have been a Master Ranger since 8-1-03 and will stick with it all the way. I have been thru way too much with it to just throw in the towel now. Being a Ranger is all about taking the harder road. Jumping ship when things are hard just doesnt seem very much like being a Ranger.

My profession is Master Ranger. I will be a Master Ranger as long as I live in SWG. Its part of my char's history.

Yes, I follow the Holo-Path. But just as long as I can be a Master Ranger. If I had to drop my Master-Ranger-Title I wouldnt follow the Holo-Path anymore.

I soon master the pistoleer. And I will drop this title little bit later for Pikeman. Pistoleer and pikeman dont have a personality, arent unique in SWG. There just fighters like others. But Master Ranger is unique, has a personality, has a history in SW.

To have the title Master Ranger is for me much more important than to be able to create a camp for droping creatures/vehicles/droids. I didnt become ranger to do that. I become Master Ranger to be a Master Ranger.

And if it takes months to fix the ranger, it will take months. Meanwhile, i will sitting in the outland of some planets waiting for the creatures i need to harvest.
