Actually, Dukehondo, we AO fixers had absolutely no power at all until they we finally fixedafter a year and a half, thus becoming the preferred category for GA-twink-alts. What made the fixer prof great and powerful, in the eyes of Funcom's dev team, was a strong and supportive community. I honestly hope that the same sort of thing can develop for the ranger class in SWG.
To this end, we have a pretty good foundation already in place. For one, we have Mineras, a very capable correspondant who is accurately represetning our views to management. Second, we have a small but loyal base of regulars who are playing the prof because they love it, not because it makes them uber. Third, 99% of the rangers I have met on the boards and in-game are genuinely nice, mature and fun people to be around.
Finally, there is the unquestionable cornerstone of the burgeoning ranger community: we are DEAD SEXAH! YEAH BABY!
