Besides playing my Ranger, I also have another account in which my toon is a smuggler. I've helped countless novice smugglers as they progressed through the profession, and a few of them, I have given credits to. Funny thing happened the other day, I got a tell from a player whose name I didn't recognize asking to meet me. The player informed me that I had helped him out when he first came into the game. Regretfully, I didn't recall his name, but I smiled and started to go my own way when he said he had a gift for me. The gentleman tipped me 1,000,000 credits and moved off. I chuckled to myself and wnt my own way. The money will be used for the "New Player Scholarship Fund" and I'll continue assisting them, whether it is in the smuggler profession or the ranger one. I don't do it for the "reward" rather I do it for me. I like helping folks.

I havent gotten the occasional tell in SWG and WWIIOL like that. And at first you feel guilty you dont remember. But a part of you takes over and feels pretty darned good about yourself.

But thenI never got 1 meeeeelion credits for it either
