Acctually no, I'm swedish. We have a weird mix of learning english english in school and american english from TV/Movies. I probably have a horrible mix of english and american words I'm not even noticing myself.

My take on Mask scent and Camo? Well, I personally think mask scent is fine... Maybe it breaks a little too often at the master level but still not enough to make me nuts. Camo was a great idea, however, I think with the difficulty to make there should be more of a benefit than just "npc masking".... I am a firm believer that this should be more of a "cover" type of skill where you prevent npc aggro / packeven after you attack.

For example- You are camoed and looking at 6 imperials. You shoot one from prone... You should get the 3 shots as you do with critters before they come after you but more importantly the other npcs shouldnt automatcally know where you are and start shooting you. I havent tested this to significance but my tests on corellia brought me to the "Mask scent for npcs" conclusion.

When I graduated from high school and moved on to college, I did not forget any of the skills or knowledge that I learned in high school. I added to my skills and improved my knowledge by being in college. So how the heck can a scout, even a Master scout, have better skill at mask scent than I do? I learned a "new" skill in Camo; I DID NOT forget my old skill of mask scent and I certainally did not make it worse. The only skill I would miss from these new improvements is tracking and I would even give that up to be able to group with my friends again and not feel like a liability.

"So how the heck can a scout, even a Master scout, have better skill at mask scent than I do?"

-The reductionin effectivenessis not intentional.

- It simply appears to be a adverse reaction to the new /conceal skill

Now that the harvest issue appears to be mostly settled, any idea when they will fix this?

- No more idea than you.

- I presume the problem will be resolved when GreenMarine returns his attention to our profession after placating the Smugglers.

1. "pre big update"

2. Master Ranger

3. Red, Shaupaut Hunter, CL 22

4. Walking

5. 0

Yes I was aggroed by Shaupaut Hunter from about 70m.

This is broken.

I have repeated this on a ton of different things, but I didn't want to clutter my answer with other creatures. I have not personally experienced being aggroed by yellow (non-aggressive's).

I think the main problem is a ranger is more likely to be "spotted" than a scout. How is it if we are supposed to be better than a scout we forget the stuff we learned on the way to ranger?I went out with ascout friend on Lok. For every one time his maskscent broke mine broke 5-7x. About half the time it resulted in an attack. I'm not asking for more quality as a ranger, just not to loose anything because I am.

As a side note, I was hoping when I got the camo kit there would be a graphical change to my avatar. Grease paint, a few branches, something. Maybe it can be looked into.

- Other Rangers agree... There is an item in the State of the Profession list for just such a graphic.

When I, a Master Ranger go out with friends who have scout Wayfaring 4, into the wild, I have my maskscent drop more often and result in attack FAR more often than they do. I have started to not use maskscent and have had better results, now they get attacked more often. Something is wrong, plain and simple.
