Thread: Draft Copy Top 5
"I do agree with the Lok Domesticated Meat issue though."
This is another one of those issues that only received 2 votes in the Top 5 Debate.
So it either the /harvest bug, the /forage bug, or this one that makes it onto the last slot in the list...
The /forage bug seems to be the bug with the widest influence, so it snuck its way into the final slot.
----
I feel I am overstepping my mandate already by extending the list to 10 elements.
I don't really want to force the issue and start adding more items. ![]()
With respect to this:

All I have to say is, the Lok camo kits isnt that big a deal to me personally andI doa LOT of hunting there. Groups can pretty much handle anything that will aggro on them with the exception of the pirates and the droidekas, neither of which are animals and wont be affected by camo, in my experience.
To be fair, however, I also cant say that asking for /forage to be fixed would be worth it. If the "rare" items arent of even moderate value to Rangers, then farage is a wasted skill anyway. The only thing that keeps me even checking it is the hopes that forage will be fixed and worth it. Then again, it is a skill we gained with scouting and if it goes the way of explore/wayfairing it probably wont be. Up to you all.
All in all- I am happy with the direction that the Ranger profession is being handled (now) and for the most part only have minor issues to bring up.
Keep up the good work NRaas
"I also cant say that asking for /forage to be fixed would be worth it."
Personally, neither can I.
- If it's a choice between three minor bugs... I'll pick the largest impact of the three.

You never know...
- We may goad them into changing /forage to actually work better, if they decide to fix the "inventory full" bug...
Or not. ![]()
But just think of the possibilities if they fix forage...
We can start bugging the devs about better foraged items, ask the devs to include rare foraged items in our traps to make them better, change crafting recipes to include rare foraged items in the elite crafting skill trees...
City hall schematic:
20 wall units, 6 storage modules, 6 power core units, 1250 metal, 2000 ore, and 1 Ewok Fur Mite (rare foraged item)
Well you guys have one hour to argue among yourselves before I post the final version.
Have at it. ![]()
Wow, this looks great and I don't think I would change any of the topics. I do have some additional info on some of it.
/conceal bugs: I have experienced the problem of NPC's attacking me while concealed. But it has been noticed that the ones that do attack me, I have lots of bad faction with them. So I wonder if conceal only works against agro and has no effect against faction. If you ask me it should though, because if I'm camoflouged, then I should not be seen by "ANYONE" whether they like me or not.
Traps Design Request: What about the pulling trap? Where we throw it at a creature that is in a assistive pack, and it wanders out towards you by itself with out the others. That would help make us very useful on hunts and groups. Maybe make that trap also useable on NPC so that we can pull out that one ST from the base and take him out. A lot of potential there for our profession from just one trap.
"What about the pulling trap?"
The Lure trap was actually GreenMarine's idea in the first place (see the Correspondent Feedback at the top of the forum)...
- So we don't really need torequest it ourselves.

Alrighty then...
I am going to stick with the /forage bug as #5, as it may remind the developers that work still needs to be done on that skill. ![]()
"6. /forage bug"
I have already agreed to bump the /harvest bug off in favor of the /forage bug. ![]()
"should apply to bothranged and melee attacks"
I will add a line to emphasize that request. ![]()
"On the /areatrack, I think the issue has less to do with distance than it does with spawning."
I agree that is most likely the reason we are seeing the phenomena. I will add a note to that effect under that item. ![]()
