how do put lava on somebody without burning yourself? It's not exactly as if you can just run down to your local lava river and scoop some up with your canteen.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Ah HA! I have some looted "lava tongs", maybe that's the first step...

and *I* was going to try and use them to dip... those pants... into the lava. But maybe they can help with application of lava camo too!

you don't need lava tongs for burning those garments. Just shove whoever is wearing them into the lava. Problem solved.

foo to you.

Ya don't put the lava on, you use the soot to mask the profile of your face and stuff.

I'm guessing that the critters here will have wither exceptionally good or exceptionally bad eyesight. If good it'll be more attuned to movement than colour.

Somebody, in another place, was mithering about them seeing in the IR end of the spectrum but the place would be flooded with hundreds of 'flares' of light so I doubt that. Aye, I'll go with movement, so you want to get yourself looking as much like the background as possible, grab a lump of charcoal and get durteh.

Also thought they might have an enhanced sense of smell. Reckon the background 'sulphur' odour would fade once you were used to it, so better put some eggs in that mix too....

I would agree that it would seem like one big glow in IR at first thought... but on the other hand... if they look for "cold" spots... any critter is going to be a lot colder than the lave, they'd stand right out...

still probobly not the most practical way of doing things....
