Ruby Bliel does. it's a drink that gives you an instant stimpack use, or something like that. with my CM skills and all, i never bothered with that stuff. i only use a stimpack if i'm in serious trouble. i usually just rely on bacta shot or bacta toss.

If I add Novice Medic I can use Bacta Shot to help on some healing. As I understand it, it is not a lot of healing but it may be enough to just let you survive long enough to get the kill.

If I add use the skill points to take up some of the rifles line in Marksman I would increase my damage output.

Seems to be a decision to look at being able to heal yourself to stay in the battle versus being able to kill faster.

Now if Ranger just did not take soooo many skill point but I don't want to get into that here.

if it helps at all, in the over year and a half i've been playing SWG, Oreet, my first and main toon, has NEVER dropped Novice Medic since i first learned it a few days after starting the game. I've ALWAYS had at least some medical skills, as you cannot always rely on others to keep you alive.

Speaking of template changes...

I'm about to take the big plunge

Now, mind you, I've had Guildenstern since shortly after the servers opened. He's *always* had medic. Always, always. At one point he was darn near master medic, just from making/using stims. Of course stims have changed a huge amount, since the beginning. Anyway, one thing lead to another, and eventually, myhusband and Ileft SWG, took it back up, dropped it again, and - now, finally, seem stuck on it again lol

So, I completely missed the growing pains of the CU, thank god - but I came back to a master scout/marksman, novice pistoleer/rifle,2/3 doneRanger (with some medic! lol yes he was rather a mess and had no free skill points.) Now that I've buckled down and decided on Rifle (that's why he was master marksman etc - I just could decide!) I'm approaching that point of no return heh. That is, if I want Ranger too, I gotta finally drop Medic. I just have to get the Master box now. Although I expect 1 mil rifle xp, solo, to take a while.

I'm just trying to decide, with the rate I'm getting Ranger boxes, especially with their cost, if I should do a quick painful jerk or a long slow agonizing pull lol. I was going to wait and max my Ranger skill, and drop medic after I mastered Rifle.

I know it's pathetic really lol. I'm trying to fight without resorting to bacta shot and it's really tough >< It's like a safety net or a bad habit lol

Okies enough rambling ^_^ I just felt like stating all that. Ignore if you like lol

I have been using some high end stim d's that heal for about 1200-1300. How much healing does bacta shot give you with Novice Medic?

I'm not sure? I've forgotten but not a whole lot, I have dropped and regained medic a lot on various characters. I believe I healed typically for between 100 to 200 at the novice box - I know by thethird it was about 600.Maybe someone else here recalls more exactly.

Ruby decreases your stim wait time by about half if you get stuff rated near 30.

Not sure if it's one use or not. I think it's supposed to last a while, so if it's one use that might be a bug.

SWG and the NGE is like a circus, it's fun to watch (play the forums) but not something you'd want to be in.-

You drink the bliel and then you can use a stim immediately. It's one use, but you can drink more of it. When I fight the BH boss marks, I usually end up completely full from the bliel. Full is better than dead, though, right?

Seeing as I can't drink it during combat, it isn't of much help to me usually.. Maybe I'm just full and don't notice though.

Aye you must be full because you can eat/drink during battle - at least I know I do, and have np unless I'm full, or under a similar buff. I will have to experiment with actually using the stuff I guess... I usually just make it.

Well I'm master rifleman/master ranger also... been debating changing templates.

I was thinking MBH, ranger 0040, rifles 4002, and novice medic

here's the problem.... do the math and the combat level would be like 70-72 range.

and I don't know how that will affect my BH marks... would they drop the good loot still etc?

The nice thing about this template... way better defences, plus the improved stances.... better accuracy, better speed than Mrifles, Mranger. plus bacta shot with 6 sec timer vs 60 sec timer for stims...

only down side... creature harvesting drops from 160 to 90....

Wish there was a way to test it w/out using my respec.

Any thoughts???

BRP: You'll still get the high good loot marks of MBH, but you won't be able to kill them, so it's a moot issue and one of bad consequence.

Mouse: Thanks for the biels info, I'll have to try that out.

You really think with 6k energy armor, PSG, a 600 dps rifle, and bacta shot/stims I couldnt take a bh boss mark?
