Well, the Smuggler revamp is still comming up (Hey it happened to RANGERS, it could happen to YOU!)
We'll see.
so there still is the possiblity that Smugglers could get some of these skills. I for one, wouldn't mind sharing some of the stealth abilities with Smugglers. In that case, however the stealth detection skills should be kept Ranger only. The whole "stealing" issue came out of left-field and you can make an equally valid case for both Ranger and Smuggler, so you might get a piece of that action as well.
Not at all, I don't believe we should get any of your skills. Though I wouldn't mind the Urban Stealth, I don't remember Han Solo ever trying to be Stealthy (at least, not on the ground). The Thievery I oppose completely, Smugglers Smuggle, Thieves steal.
Once agian this should be a ray of hope to Smugglers! If the Devs are going to give this much love to a profession neglected almost from the start, finding some way to let Smugglers smuggle is an almost trival (in terms of code-work, not importance or benifit to the game) change to the game.
So so many have thought... Here is a post to why so many Smugglers aren't getting their hopes up.
Well, perhaps you're right about stealing not being important to smugglers. People tend to think of them as the generic criminal class, but that's not really true. I have looked at thesome of the reactions inSmuggler's forum and ideas for an evasion/fast-talking skill seems a better fitfor you guysthan a camoflague skill. An interesting idea would be a skill that has a chance to temporarily make hostileNPCs (and perhaps PCs) non-hostile. Something like that would be a cool, and unique addition to your profession. That and Smuggling of course!

There you go.

Yup, that's the general agreement.

Now that's an idea, really goes with the Smuggler profession and all that.
That and Smuggling of course!
