heh.. sat outside Coronet at midnight tonight for about 15 minutes watching the people go by. That's one use..people watching. I also use them in my house as an alternative decoration. So um.. that's another.
Though I suppose those aren't their intended uses these days, but they continue to have these uses nonetheless.
Appreciate the support.. We'll at least be the most noble of grouped professions alongside the others, albeit we won't be able to change it anytime soon. Just submit a /bug a day that Rangers, Smugglers, Commandos, Squad Leaders are bugged. And have been awhile. Least you'll get some sort of message out there.. I guess.
just echoing what some of my fellow Rangers have already stated. It's refreshing to see that there *are* still Jedi on the forums, and we're not yet completely over-run with jedi... Thank you.
Never been a ranger or a squad leader, but you guys get no love at all.

Well, spent an hour writing a post here with alot of content, then I moved it over to the General Game forum, then "authentication error" deleted the whole thing. It was a grand guide to broken stuff, covering every profession in the game.

I was a ranger for a long time on my main toon and somehow i find myself missing the profession even with its bugs. Maybe i'll regrind it on one of my alts...

Commandos, SL, Entertainers, CH (who are APPARENTLY getting a GLANCE, but nowhere NEAR enough good), Rangers. I'm sorry my profession's whininess (word?) seems to get more attention than so many other subscribers. We all pay the same amount a month. We ALL deserve equal attention. /salute

Although since I am both Jebi and Ranger it's a tad anachronistic of me
As an aside, I don't use a glowstick anymore, don't even have one on my person. I don't call myself a Jedi - I'm really nothing more than a force wielding amateur in truth (ditto for everyone else in this timeline). Thankfully most people don't recognise Jym as a jedi, and I'd like to keep it that way - sadly the amount of negativity caused by the "bad egg" lowercase jedi has made this so.
This game needs to be viewed in a more holistic way by it's players. We are all in the same galaxy, everything we do has an effect on the people around us. Sometimes I feel completely in the minority with these views, but you gotta keep fighting.

Careful what you wish for, you might end up with Commrangler's if they were to actually unite all three professions. This it's wierd? Well they gave away most of the good idea's posted on this forum, Grenades and Traps are pretty close as it is, it's been suggested to combine Rangers and Squad Leader's more than once, and lastly Ranger camo was never expected to work in the cities because it might step on the toes of Smugglers.
But...
If they unite the four professions we can all be ignored and nerfed together!
