The BHs are at a distinct disadvantage... being unarmed in a battle of wits.
this made me guffaw. i didn't even know i could guffaw, but that's definitely the sound i made.

I seem to have been out in the wilderness a little too long. Since when are bounty hunters going to be able to professions other than Jedi?

Icarus - sometime next century after the 30th expansion pack is released. Its to easy to grief and the CSR's are already flooded with jedi tickets when they do get killed. So it wont happen. But it is fun though.

It could be done if only one profession could create the bounty, say politicians at a certain level. They are the most governmental types, and it might give them a decent role for once. And only then the hunted can only have the bounty placed on them once every month, maybe more, to stop constant bounty griefing.

That doesn't work. You just make a macro with:
/target JBMat;
Spam it within 150 m of the droid waypoint, and you got a dead ranger

Well im a MBH still with my old Master Ranger tag 
I have fun when Jedi ask me to track something and all they get in return is a few shots from my Scatter and some xp loss

i was hanging out on the bh forums ( it's pretty entertaining listening to their bitching) and they had a clicky to this post and bitched about the rangers LOL

Anyway, i got a pre-nerf title bug title
And i still keep it cause it reminds me of the two good months i was Master Ranger and roaming the galaxie making a lot of money.. Master Ranger was my first hybird Profession to Master, then i became a MBH and Master Pistoleer and been that ever since.. Only 5 Master professions in over a year of SWG
