They drop as loot, so /loot all should do the trip...

But they tend to be extremely rare and are not on every creature.

I would like to add that last night I looted 6 vibro motors off of a Krayt Dragon....dunno if anyone else has had this experiance.

Something I've found extremely useful for harvesting/looting creatures:

I've 3 macros set up:

/harvest bone;/loot all
/harvest hide;/loot all
/harvest meat;/loot all

All I have to do this way is click the button on the toolbar or slap the corresponding F# key. I use them for all my harvests, and that way never forget to also try and loot the beastie.

That is a good macro that I use as well. (And doubles as an NPC loot macro.)

Just so you know, the "all" is extraneous. Using "/loot" by iteself from the command line or in a macro is equivalent to "/loot all" from the radial.

try adding /deathblow to the end of those macros... it makes them your one-stop button for whatever happens to be lying on the ground.

There aren't any imp surface marshals

And Droidekas drop projectile feed mechanisms, not vibro motors, vibro motors only drop from nym guards and such

I, as well, would like confirmation on the stranded imps on Yavin 4. I must've killed +400 of them the other day and got nothing but around 20k in credits. Now, the faction points are nice, but few. I make many more faction points per hour doing missions from terminals than tracking imps.

I can tell you all that I have looted a holocron form the stranded rebels on dantooine. But, I have not seen any drop from the ones on Yavin IV. Although I intend on hunting some of them myself now and seeing if I find one.

You also get lots of cool stuff off jawas. I looted some rancor bile and gave it to a friend who makes enhancers from it.
