Think we could get a date added to when that was posted?

I believe what Greenmarine said when he was in here briefly was that it would be in the fall/winter of this year

I'm just hoping they get to this before Publish 10. I'm a new Master Ranger, and while I like the profession, I'm finding it hard to figure out how I fit into the GCW.

And in my experience, the /conceal command breaks about as often as /maskscent - feh.

At this point from looking at their upcoming schedule, I wouldn't expect anything to happen until early/mid 2005.

Seriously.

No they will be hard at work on fixing and adding content to JtLS, working out jedi population control, fixing the combat balance, the GCW, giving ID's an DE's 2 MORE ENTIRE PUBLISHES each, etc.....

In my opinion us master rangers need a heck of a lot more than just traps. For 1 I think our harvesting rates need to be drastically increased.

• Creature Harvesting: The master box should give no less than +25. Some of us harvesting rangers have no real incentive to go from tracking IV to master for the simple fact that it's not worth the investment for a simple +10.

• Throw traps: The idea of bringing in more offensive traps is a good one but along with this there needs to be a good 70% reduction in throw time/animation. If anything add a + to throw speed up the trapping line. Traps also need to work in pvp (all traps except roots). Being able to run in and temporarily lower the melee defense of a target or throw on some fancy status effects like a dizzy or a blind is not outside the realm of balance. The points required to be able to go up that tracking line are to say the least significant. There should be a great payoff considering we have no offensive capabilities that compliment our profession.

• Area Harvest: Another idea I've had that I definetly think would be great. We've all had to deal with those pesky rancors or pickets and we're forced to navigate centimeter by centimeter to try and have that green box pop up to harvest targets that have died over top of eachother. I think we as master rangers should get /areaharvest hide/meat/bone with something as small as a 5 meter radius. Leave the droid harvesting and single target harvesting to the non hardcore. Give us something damnit!

I have never heard /areaharvest suggested before...very, VERY interesting. I am not sure how much time I spend reharvesting everything to make sure I get animal in the pile...

It wouldnt need any new animations or i would think much programming either. That would be something simple to add wouldnt it? And would give master rangers an interesting bonus.
