however, i am considering Master Ranger, Master Carbineer and then some Squad Leader for group benefits.

I had been a MasterRifle and Master Ranger, I really loved the combination. I just remastered Rifle and just got back to Novice Ranger. After Reading alot of what you all have said about the changes I think I'll just continue on as I am and do the wait and see.

I'm currently working on Bounty Hunter, so I'd be MBH, Master Scout, Master Ranger. Going to hit test center and see how the new Ranger changes look. I preferred being a wilderness type. So, if all that moves to Scout, I may drop Ranger and go for some Medic so I can ease the pain of getting spanked by the Stormtrooper gank patrol.

Iconic professions. Ok. Chewbacca was a Scout. How come that didn't stay?

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.

That's a combo I'd really like to try out, cant bring myself to drop MBH to do it tho. I think the combo Sniper shot, conceal shot, snare along with a knockdown (in the middle of some APD's?) from BH or Carbs would work out very nicely.

I'll probably stay as is and dabble in Carbs or SL for more speed/accuracy.

Try Master carbineer, Rifleman 4004, Master Ranger.

or

Master Ranger, BH 0303, Rifleman 4004 Carbineer 4400

or

Master Ranger, Master BH, Carbines 4440

I think those would all work

Until the revamp my alt will be a MBH/MC/MM/Pistols0030

Then he will be the first to try the new Ranger.

Sadly if the pre-reqs remain Marksman Carbines then this template will not be possible due to lack of skill points...
