Thread: Rants of a Master Ranger
Im sorry, but I give PoobearHugs 5 stars on this post (if I could just figure out how to do it.. lol).My maskscent is broken just as often 2 boxes into Wayfarring was it was when I only had 4 boxes of Exploring. The traps are bugged and need to be fixed. Creature Knowledge really needs to DO SOMETHING. Where the heck is Conceal? Where the heck is Tracking??? Why don't camps work??? And most of all, why haven't the DEVS SAID ANYTHING ABOUT RANGER ISSUES?!
(sips some more morning coffee)

My 2 biggest peeves so far (at Wayfaring, Trapping, Bioscience 4, Frontiering 3) are :
1) Camps not repelling aggro - This was a MAJOR selling point for me, I really wanted to be able to provide groups with a safe haven while hunting on Dathomir or some other tough planet.
2) The ranger traps - They dont work and there need to be more. The scout traps were >quite< useful, especially the snare types, I expected a big boost with ranger ones and I was disappointed.
These have both been said over and over, but I felt like adding my view as well.
I'll post here and agree with you because I Read somewhere that they primarily look at the topic with high rankings and lots of traffic...
That being said, unfotunately (as in RL) benifits come to those who scream the loudest rather than those who may be a little more poilte. I agree there are some serious issues they have to deal with but I have a bad feeling it will over a month until they throw us the smallest of bones.
I am 2 boxes away from Master Ranger and I'm not half as excited as I should be.
I've also brought this thread to the General Forums referencing this thread. I just hope that either we or our Correspondent get at least an acknowledgement soon!
