My favorite would have to be Montolio, the teacher of Drizzt...i mean come on, the guy was blind and used a bird to pick off his targets with a bow. Doesnt get much better than that...plus he could tame wild creatures.

The long Ranger and Steve Irwin, who woulda thought? Though I gotta say the Crocodile Hunter is pretty cool if you think about it, but he might be more of a Ranger / CH.
Fred just reminded me of Dune in the Ranger Motto thread, and thinking of that I'm gonna have to add the Fremin to the list. I don't know if they are exactly Rangers, but surviving in the middle of a desert planet has gotta count for something. They're pretty stealthy too

Hi, I'm new to the Ranger Forum but not to the game. Been a Fencer since August. I'm looking forward to the Ranger profession. I see alot of Ranger/Carbineers, Ranger/Rifleman, but no Ranger/Fencers. Excited to get started and actually play the Ranger profession, not grind it.
Anyway, I just saw Van Helsing and he seemed like a Ranger type to me. I would vote for him as my favorite Ranger along with Aragorn.
I look forward to participating in this community of unique individuals and learning from any Ranger who is willing to give some friendly advice and guidance.
