As a TKM Ranger, I say YAY vs. animals. I feel that Conceal works against creatures far better than Maskscent ever did and is very usefull for making long treks across dangerous planets with little humanoid life, like Yavin 4.
I say NAY vs. humanoids. While it works on some NPCs, I find that itfunctions sporadic at best and not at all on most. I find that it works nearly 100% of the time against aggressive non-factioned NPCs, like Evil Hermits, and it works well against non-aggressive NPCs that I have negative faction with, but if there is a factioned agressive in the group, he will always see through the camouflage and alert the rest despite having positive faction, often times without ever dropping my camouflage.
So, while I can travel through groups of Weequay and Evil Settlers without fear (like anyone is afraid of them in the first place), I still have to avoid Valarian's (-5000) AND Jabba's men (+5000).

Im with JB on this. Camo would be better (only just) if it was free or far superior, but it isnt so mask takes the trophy.

myself and a good friend who is a bio engineer go out to endor often in search of Merek DNA. I've been starting to use cammo on her, and the Mereks seem a lot less likely to aggro her when she's cammoed, so i say yea.

for me, answer is NAY.
My Pets tank for me, even tho i have recently switched from pistols to swords, I find my pets still get most of the aggro as long as I send them in first.
Camo is a waste of resources and time for me as oppossed to my mask scent hotkey.
Mask Scent has gotten me within 20m of Ancient Bull Rancors for minutes at a time as I just watch them.

I may also add that having ParaCamo pants at +17 cammo helps. However......Everything agros on Hawtpants. No matter how much camo you use.

Tested Naboo camo on Imperial NPC's I killed several stormtroopers, officers and non commissioned officers without drawing an aggro for several minutes. Finally when i was spotted and incapped they lost me and didn't Deathblow me. I got back up killed some more Imperial NPC's one from 15m firing at his face. Finally, looted my last stormtrooper turned around from looting him kissed a stormtrooper was fined 500 credits and walked away.
I think overall that was a good run of kills

I'll add also that i've hunted npcs (mostly stormtroopers) while overt and with camo up they don't really see you. Sometimes they will but sometimes they won't. Of course once you attack they see that anyways and promptly try to gang bang you.

actually no gangbanging was involved they shot they incapped they went back to talking about the combat simulations. Typicall Imperial behavior.

LOL
I had a friend tell a stranded Imp trooper on Yavin one time,
"Imperials Suck"
They fined him 17k on the spot.
ROFL. He was one mad wookiee.

Definitely yay!
I am a TKM/MR and use camo practically at all times on adventure planets. I like not being aggroed and only pick fights with the animal that has the resources I am hunting for. Since I tend not to use mission terminals to get the animal a lot of wandering around is required and while camoed I can focus on the business at hand. From my viewpoint camo works pretty well even for NPC's and the best part is that fighting only seldom breaks the camo.
