I would put my money on the experiementation coming from the camo mod, but that would mean we need 2 experimentation points from each +10 to the mod.
At the very least it used to be the camo mod. With +140 camo (Bothan and camo clothing), I had 14 experimentation points last time I tried. +150 did not give me 15, though (can only get +25 from clothing). And the mod goes up to +100 at Master Ranger, not 50 (then +15 for Bothans and +25 from clothing).

I know my skill sheet on live says +115/+146 or something like that (at least last I remember). Many of the character builders are not up to date. They are useful for skill boxes but I don't trust the actual values listed in the boxes.

ah ok ill log and take a look at mine, arg but i dont have my camo clothing on me, supose ill just have to add +25

Cool yeah 100 at master. mine reads +100/+108 (rebel ring/backpack) then add clothing up to +133 in hunting mode.

I might have based my previous assumptions on a +50 camo mod...if the mod is really +100, then that's where the experimentation comes from.

But im up to 16 as a 10 pointer. I want 20 to protect me from the NPC's and all those Bothan Bounty Hunters that used to be rangers

The +50 is probably from the days when the camo skill applied to maskscent (and you got +50 through Scout and another +50 through Ranger). Just so you know, you cap out at +100/+125 right now. +133 will still only give you 12 experimentation points unless you are a Bothan (you can get up to 14, even if you rarely use more than 6 or 7).

I still dont think its based on camo, i mean why does it only give us experimentation points at wayfaring 1, wayfaring 3 and master? You get camo mods in the other wayfaring boxes but you dont get more experimentation.
Its got to have something to do with it but i dont think its the same as crafting experimentation (crafters cap at 12 points for instance)

I do know that I get 14 experimentation points. The only skill that I have at that level (+140) is camo. Without my camo clothes, I only get 11 experimentation points. I don't know how it works but I do know that the camo mod does make a difference.
