I'm mostly drawn to this profession because
a) it's rare... very rare in fact (i've never seen a ranger outside Bab5)
b) this community seems to be just that "a community"
c) I'm a master CH and i want to invest my time in a profession that will take me longer than a week to get (No offence to TKA intended) and that i can appreciate the reward (no matter how small it is)

Oh, and on the rare front... I just assume that means WE are the actual Jedi in this game. I mean, we're rare, we have a HUGE down side to playing Ranger as a profession (skill points lost for almost no useful skills other than the trapping mod that lets me use exclusively scout traps to trap high end creatures), and as a community in general, we're MUCH more Jedi-like (based on the movie and books) than a large majority of "jedi" players in the game.

So, I have no desire to go "jedi"... as in my heart, I feel that most of US are already "Jedi".
