Thread: How many Rangers are on your Server?

I can't say that I've seen any that are full MR on Ahazi. I've probably run across a few with some of the skills. I've had to go to a Ranger trainer to move up the ladder with the majority of the skills I've learned, and I am currently finishing up the trapping tree....very slowly might i add, but i really like the professions. It complements my MCH rather nicely. Makes hunting for babies easy.
I'm looking for some level 50 players to group with so that i can grind my trapping skills, but finding it difficult. Does anyone have any suggestions. It seems everyone grouping for hunting is level 70+ like myself, and that isn't good for grinding at my Ranger Trapping level of 50.

If Ranger makes up approx 1% of professions and if subscriptions are still at 250k (though I'd expect this too be much higher now) then there should be 2500 Rangers at least. Then why do only about 20 post.

Because only half or less (who knows, really) of the people that play the game use the forums Even then, only a % of those that use the forums actually post (we do occassionally see, "I am a lurker" posts).

Same reason you don't see 250K posts a day in the other profession forums. Not everyone who has an account posts on the forums. For that matter, there are probably a bunch of folks who don't even READ the forums (given the number of folks who ask questions in-game that are in the FAQ's).

I understand that but we have a very low rate of posters in comparison to the number of our profession

Are you using the food Dweezel? I got some that added +16 levels to my TL a while ago and that can make it easier to do the higher end trapping. I think it can go higher than that but its hard to find since there is a small market...

Don't waste money paying for training - if you need a hand, look me up. Been a Master Ranger (or training up to that) for my entire time in the game (just over a year now), and I'm happy to train folks or help out where I can. IGN is Dekiion. There's a few other Masters around too, folks that post on here from time to time (like Rolfie, Pida and others).

I've only seen 5-6 on gorath. There were hundreds during the pop-tart bug, but since thats gone i have seen 3 other than myself and hear of 2 more, so I'm adding 1 more just to be safe.
Although there is an Antaran Rangers guild starting i'll have to look into that.

Well, I know there's at least one on Bria, Wanderhome, Infinity, Chimera... don't run with tags up tho, and on my Bria toon, the only one I've taken to MR so far, I rarely had the masters tag up because I got tired of the "d00d cna u find me teh mixture farmers??"

I know of around 10-15 on Eclipse, but I'm sure there are many more. I'd guess probably 100 or more, a lot of those being alts to Jedi or people who don't actively play their Ranger.

Including myself I've seen a total of 4 Rangers who had a Master Ranger tag up on Kettemoor.
