Agreed. At the VERY least, it should be a Master Scout ability. Novice Ranger would be just as good. Master Ranger would be a bit much though.

Actually our biggest loss will be that BEs can get their own milk with just two extra boxes (Exploration I and II) since they already have to have scout to be a BE. They make +taming animals and vicious creatures tissues with the milk and can make a pretty penny off them to all the CHs out there. If BEs can get their own milk, kiss 75% of the market value away. I agree with previous posters. Make miking a Ranger ability. If a BE wants to match Ranger (or Master Scout)with BE, they won't have enough skill points left to master a combat profession for when the creatures go aggo.

PS This is coming from a BE. Now if Rangers start charging 100 cpu for milk, I'm switching sides

You know, I think we should get more milk then a scout or a non scout.. I even think that we should be the only ones to do it.. but you know what? I really don't care.. cause Milking is just retarded.. and I definetly don't want that to be my unique trait in the galaxy.

I agree with you, Ranger will continue to be a solo Prof. in this game. Scouting shouldnt have some of the ablilties now, Since we have conceal drop mask scent down a few notches *15* no greater. I really hope people in this post are incorrect about milking I really thought that would be our edge in 'Ranger' skills. Also fellow rangers I wish they would nerf Hide harvesting from Novice Scout and make it a double tree ablility like: exploration 2 and hunting 2 or 3 here why, we Ranger don't make a dime compared to architech, weapon smith and we work harder then they do. This way Artisan can't just take on Novice Scout then harvest hides just too keep our industry lincome low. Thats why we only get 7-15cpu because everybody has Novice scout!!!!!!!! Take all harvesting off 'Novice' Scout make those who really don't wan't the prof. earn Scout. Whew, also thiers no reason has a Ranger I should be spending most my hours running mission to make ends meat-wait; that takes hours just to by small house, two med size flora farms kicking out 8 bers, windmills etc total cost 110K this guy makes it under an hour he get paid 110K but I run mission for 7 hours to make 110K, don't start me on the hides sales. Simply Rangers it would be nice if we can control cost but we can't because everyone "Novice' scout and harvest.
