Incidentally, what's the deal with the frontiering line and being able to use the camps ?

I obviously have to have frontiering IV to be able to craft the high tech field base, but do I have to have it to be able to set one up if I already have the camp in my inventory ?

My observations are in the FAQ about which level is required to deploy each Ranger camp.

I'm a scout and survival is one of the best skills you get. You get alot of xp for only setting up a camp and sitting there while you go to the frige and get a snack. I'd whine about trapping.

Speaking of macros.....anyone got a good one for camp grinding? I'm sure there's one on this site somewhere...but i'm too lazy to look it up

I'm not just another hologrinder!!! I really enjoy Ranger, my guildmates still laugh at me, but I have a lot more fun then they do! Just kinda get bored with crafting.....anything to speed the process is good.

As a ranger once voluntarily, and now as a whore, I'd disagree a little. In a perfect virtual world, u are correct. But I have found if you desire to get camping xp in groups, you must find an incredibly patient bunch to sit in ur camps for 15-30 minutes a clip. I can't even get my guildmates to stay in camp longer than it takes to heal up and go. And I camped as i needed, and I found the camping line the slowest in my 1st iteration.
