to "two can help a fellow ranger"

I seem to recall an answer once by a dev to this question once and the answer was that the rare item table was turned off. When you forage you can get a lucky roll to get an item from the rare table but because it is turned off the game defaults to an erroneus message.

I have foraged alot of different food stuffs multiple times. All about equally. I rarely get the erroneus message. So that explanation seems about right, in practice anyways.
