Thread: True Story
I totally agree! They really modeled hunting with rifles perfectly. When I go out target practicing in real life, I find that after firing just 7 or 8 bullets I have to sit down and rest for 5 minutes because it's so mentally tiring, and they totally nailed that feeling in the game.
Also, when I go out deer hunting, I shoot the deer 6 or 7 times with a .50 cal sniper rifle before it reaches me, and then I switch to my sword to try and finish it off (because of course if I'm still holding my radioactive rifle I take a ton of damage from the deer hitting me), and once again the game model allows for this style of hunting with 100% accuracy.
And last hunting trip, I left my sword in my pickup and didn't realize it til I was already out in the bush, so I had to try an alternate plan. I shot the deer 3 times before it realized where I was, then I ran like hell and fired over my shoulder while running to finish it off. I was so surprised to see that the game had even modeled that! Like omg! These guys are professionals.
That was some funny *censored*.
Clearly, whoever is in charge of ranged weapons at SOE doesn't care for rifles (and uses a pistol).
